Rob Schneider is one of my favorite people. He is such a smart and funny guy. Also love watching Neal McDonough in films. Great Actor. Great podcast today Adam
Just found out about a movie "The Shift" with Neal McDonough. In theaters. ( I gave up on going to theaters 5 years ago) . Maybe it'll get added distribution on different platforms tho.... Looks interesting.
Love Neal in Justified too. For a good guy he plays a great villain. Those blue eyes and his faith. . . Love that he respects his wife and kids enough to stick by his morals.
Rob and Adam, you guys make too much sense. Enjoy your honesty and humor! If I don't laugh at your comments I would cry because you speak the truth....
"Credentialed" academics have de-valued themselves. Lowered the bar below ground, promoting Incompetence because of skin color, gender, or sexual preference. So shallow. So spineless and cowardly.
In addition to his incredible acting talents, Neal is very BASED and loves God and America. That’s precisely why he is attacked and mocked in the mainstream media. Adam’s absolute best shows are when he has the best talents AND who do not hate America, the family, God, 2A, etc… Rob and Neal made this episode a killer show! Thanks Adam and gang.
Rob is always great! Would anyone else love to see Dennis Miller on Adam's show? Adam was on Miller's old radio show a couple times and they have great chemistry. I would love to see Dennis on Adam's show, especially as the election season kicks into gear next year 😎
Two salt of the earth guys today. Rob’s been a great voice for the underdog the last few years. I’ve always liked Neal. He is always cast in a supporting role, but ends up stealing the show. Amazing that such a straight laced, standup guy plays such compelling villains. Kudos to both of these guys.
Can’t believe they didn’t know that Pepe Lepew was an insulting stereotype of the horny Frenchman who wears tons of cologne to cover up their BO. That’s been a stereotype for 100 years: the “French bath” (spray yourself with cologne in lieu of a shower), etc.
And, he always fails to seduce her. He's the gigolo on the make who never scores. The only way he's gonna succeed is if she buys in, and she never will.
Yeah, I was just trying to think. It's easily been 10 years, but it might even be more. I sort of remember being interested in watching the nominated films even if I didn't watch the awards themselves, but in the last decade or so, I couldn't even tell you who the nominees are. I tend to just seek out film lovers online who talk about it and learn about good movies that way, whether they are up for awards or not.
I love Angel Studios work. I can't wait to see The Shift and I'm also waiting for season 2 of Wingfeather Saga, because, you know, I gotta screen this stuff for the grandkids! 😁
There's a background episode where Peppy Le' Pew mistakes the cat for another skunk because a deus ex machina of a paint accident that puts a white stripe down the cat's back and makes her look like one. I remember that episode.
Rob is a legend. He had that run of ridiculous comedy movies for a minute. But that is forgivable. His character in Surf Ninjas was hilarious and no one has ever said that
51:05 this is why i love Adam, he saw the president of that c9llege get her dander up and had a little deeper insight than most people and was able to communicate it clearly and quickly. ❤❤
Got to get it on, But not with Alan “but I kept my underwear on” Dershowitz like last episode, I myself dont like pedophiles and don’t Jeffery Epstein’s best friends either, good guest choice ace
15:40 I think the movie Valkrie with Tom Cruise did it right. At the beginning, the movie opens with a group of german soldiers speaking german amongst themselves. Then suddenly and without notice, but subtly, the are speaking a neutral english amongst themselves. If they spoke english with a german accent, that would make even less sense; that would be as if german soldiers were speaking english as a second language amongst themselves.
Hunt for Red October did an interesting transition from Russian to English dialogue. I find it very distracting when actors try to adopt a foreign accent. Witness: Kevin Costner in Robin Hood. Yikes.
This is a question that keeps coming up, is ACS a podcast or a radio show? to me, it is formatted more towards a radio show, also, Neal McDonough will always be remember for his role in Band of Brothers.
Rob Schneider nailed it! We can, and morally ought to, hate pro-Hamas speech, but the moral right to those exact expressions of ideas are those that must morally be equally protected by law. Keep speech *legal,* keep *social praise* of _good_ ideas, and keep *social shame* of _evil_ ideas.
Napoleon was often mocked as a child for his speech. He was born in Corsica and didn’t learn proper French until he went to school in France. Ironic, or fitting Phoenix also doesn’t sound French.
I always knew Rob had some depth to him so I wasn't really surprised by him quoting M Scott Peck (whom i'm also a big fan of) as i've read The Road Less Travelled and People of the Lie twice. People of the Lie actually fucked me up, in the intro Peck mentions that it's a dangerous book and he's right because it got me thinking some people are just evil. Rob and Adam are not only funny guys but also very smart
The assistant director for the Great Escape was a friend of mine and the cast. He crashed the plane in that scene because the director needed someone who could fly. He never wanted to fly again.
28:50 Adam going deep with the Jabber-Jaws reference. Jabber, Jabber, Jabber, Jabber, Jabber, Jabber, Jabber, Jabber, Jabber, Jabber, Jabber JAB-ER Jaws. Well done, sir.
Evander Holyfield doesn't have more faith than anyone else. Jesus said if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains. It's not about the size of your faith, if you trust in God, accept God, follow God, God will give you strength to face adversity. It's about God giving you strength, not how big your faith is.
the first time I saw Neal McDonough was on Boom Town NBC he was great in that was he on Desperate Housewives played Edie's husband but his acting he really gets into the characters anything he is in I try to see it truth
Referring to the "Napolean" flick, this would be the English version if it were originally spoken in French., there will be a French audio option on Netflix (or other streamer). They should have released it in French with English CC.
Rob Schneider is one of my favorite people. He is such a smart and funny guy. Also love watching Neal McDonough in films. Great Actor. Great podcast today Adam
The Neal McDonough part should be a clip on its own....inspirational discussion.
Don't worry it will be.
Just found out about a movie "The Shift" with Neal McDonough. In theaters. ( I gave up on going to theaters 5 years ago) . Maybe it'll get added distribution on different platforms tho.... Looks interesting.
He should get a full episode. Just saw him on Mike Rowe's podcast. He has so much to talk about it's crazy. Band of Brothers could be half an episode.
Love Neal in Justified too. For a good guy he plays a great villain. Those blue eyes and his faith. . . Love that he respects his wife and kids enough to stick by his morals.
my fav season of Justified ,with him.
Least liked season. Too woke.
He was great in Boomtown too
Always a great time when Schneider is around.
Schneider does not get enough credit for his intelligence. He is brilliant, spectacular and gifted all in one. Love this man!!
"Slow-Poke Rodriguez", Speedy Gonzalez's opposite relative 😂
Love Rob and really enjoy Neal's work. Two good guests!
Great Show Adam with two great guests in Rob and Neal.
Neal McDonough is a class act, thank you Adam for having him on.
Rob Schneider and Neal McDonough. Both real down to earth people and great guys. Too rare in Hollywood.
Rob is the shit. We need a new season of Real Rob please Rob 😊
it was one of the earliest netflix shows and one of the few i actually liked. netflix always cancels the good ones.
Thank you for saying that. I loved that show👍
Agree 👍🏻
Hes too woke for my money
Love Rob. Smart, funny, and honest.
Awesome guests. Loves these guys and their work
Rob and Adam, you guys make too much sense. Enjoy your honesty and humor! If I don't laugh at your comments I would cry because you speak the truth....
I remember when Rob Schneider was one of Adams go-to punchlines
I always enjoy Everytime Rob is on.
Is there anything better than actual real nice down to earth guy who plays an awesome villain in the movies?
Thanks for another great podcast! And thanks for introducing me to Neal McDonough and pulling him out of the "oh yeah, that guy" category.
Great show today Ace! 2 of the Best guys in the Biz!
Every time I see Rob, I love him more. He definitely knows what’s going on.
Much more proper respects to Rob Schneider.
"Credentialed" academics have de-valued themselves. Lowered the bar below ground, promoting Incompetence because of skin color, gender, or sexual preference. So shallow. So spineless and cowardly.
I've enjoyed Neal McDonough 's acting roles for years. He knows how to play Evil and knows how to Good Guy.
In addition to his incredible acting talents, Neal is very BASED and loves God and America.

Dennis & Adam had a podcast together but Dennis frequently “unavailable” and it fizzled. 😮
@@MissWeezeyUSA Oh really? I don't remember that. Even so, I'd still love for Dennis to be on as a guest for an hour or two.
@@Darrell7777 It was called “PO’dcast” (geddit? 😂)… they did 6 episodes and then went “on hiatus” forever. It’s probably still findable.

YES!!! I was yelling at my phone! It was abt the French!! Thank you
Lol I also think they asked Mel Blanc what different voices he could do, and the french accent spilled out, and they ran with it.
And, he always fails to seduce her. He's the gigolo on the make who never scores. The only way he's gonna succeed is if she buys in, and she never will.
That cat was such a tease. Always playing hard to get. That who-er.
Maaahhhh The French
We haven’t watched the Academy Awards in years. All award shows are toxic these days.
Yeah, I was just trying to think. It's easily been 10 years, but it might even be more. That's EVERY Pepe Le Pew episode! lol
He always mistook her for a skunk. That was the whole joke. That, and the fact that he wasn't even attractive to another skunk.
Check out Neal in FX's Justified. Older Television show but incredible writing and acting. Timothy Olyphant stars, also a great actor.

Corsu is very similar to French.
Oh...thanks for learning us all. We are all not as knowledgeable as you. Doosh.
Holy crap! I read People of the Lie! I haven't thought about that book in years.
Most of the classic films about Rome, Greece, Egypt, etc., were performed in British accents.
Probably because of the long history of English stage plays, Americans associatee historical pieces with English accents.
I agree. Probably originated with Shakespeare. All the golden age greats in movies did Shakespeare on the stage at some point.
I always knew Rob had some depth to him so I wasn't really surprised by him quoting M Scott Peck (whom i'm also a big fan of) as i've read The Road Less Travelled and People of the Lie twice. Adam is at his best when he critiques music. His breakdown of the Kenny Rogers song that shite on the Gatlin boys was an all time classic.
