Giant Diamonds over 180 years old, simple elegant mounting and no other bling to distract. She looks majestic with this new “big gun” tiara. So glad you could be part of this, and see more of the jewels at Rosenberg Palace
Wonderful coverage of Queen Mary’s new tiara. Quite an accomplishment to get to all those events solo. Hats off to you for your hard work - we all appreciate it!
Wow, so interesting to see. I have seen state banquets in Denmark about a million times, because, well duuh, I live in Denmark. But never from this angle. GOOD JOB, Brittany!
I’m glad you were there. Loved Frederik in the Mess kit. And Mary’s dress. Aaand the tiara was perfect for a black tie version of a State visit “gala” dinner.
She is amazing and I as an Australian are very proud to know we produced an amazing person but all credit to her parents. Must be the sunshine and laid back life-style too.
I love all the photos. Love your excitement of seeing the tiaras and Queen Mary’s makeup as I too enjoy seeing these types of events when the royals(any royals) are at fancy functions.
Saw a history of Queen Mary’s new tiara. Not a fan of rose cut diamonds, but seeing that tiara almost made me change my mind. To have them recut to make more brilliant takes away so much of the value. Thank you for your vlog. I love the tiaras must have had one in a past live because I remember as a child making tiaras out of my mom’s very fancy costume jewelry. My dad was in the service and they went to lot of balls and dances at the Officers’ Club.
Hi Brittany. Watching from Medicine Hat Alberta Canada 🇨🇦. Love your channel. Keep having fun on your travels. Yes I was going to say the same thing. Queen Mary’s new tiara looks like the one Queen Maxima wears. Both are stunning.
Double stress, you are not only a fan, but you work for your livelihood. You have always been reliable and gathered good amount of back stories. I love to see you enjoy your job and success.
Alright Brittany ~ Your big coat has more negatives than positives, and the only positive was “keeps you warm.” The wool coat, with proper layering underneath, will keep you just as warm and you will love wearing it. It is justified.
I have my gramama’s rosecut diamond stud earring (my sister received the other). I had it mounted for my engagement ring and whilst in Tiffany’s was asked if they could view it. They were thrilled to see one in person and were highly complimentary of it. I think they are quite special and pale only in their beauty to the bloom. 🌹
Brava, brava, Brittany. Really enjoyed this entire presentation. Brave trooper you are....Stay safe & Rest well. Look forward to new postings...Enjoy the Holidays in Europe❤🤍💙💚meg in Virginia, US
Omgosh, You did a fantastic job, Brittany!!! I am so freaking proud of you!!!💜💜💜 You are such an amazing, wonderful, and positive person (we all nitpick and berate ourselves things we could "always improve upon; we just need to not let them take over bc, believe me, you've got this!!!) with such an infectious smile and non-stop enthusiasm for your royal passions!😊💜🌟👑💂🏼🥰 Your neverending desire to learn and apply all that knowledge, especially not limiting that enthusiasm to only one royal family/country, is awe-inspiring! Now that you are being recognized as a royal correspondent and getting press-credentials more often, I hope the pattern continues more and more! 🎉👑💜 I'm addition to everything else, which I imagine you would be ecstatic with even as a bystander, you are living and pursuing your dream, where each step is advancing your career, in ways you've us join you and in ways we aren't privy to, yet. 💜🌟💜 I just want you to know, as a previous photo/journo-dreamer and royal-lover, I am so happily living vicariously through you... And a little bit as a proud Mama as I continue to watch you grow and succeed, from sharing accommodations with your sister to getting your own space to now jetting around the world at the drop of a dime, as soon as you get the call! 💜You are seriously doing such an amazing job! 💜 May the rest of 2024 and 2025 be even better for you, Brittany!!! Everything the best for you. 💜💜💜
I've just noticed Princess Marie, Queen Mary if Denmark and Princess of Wales all have similarities in their look and frame!! All so regal and beautiful 😍
I’m of a few different minds wrt the tiara. I’m glad the diamonds are being used finally. I think they’re much too big for a comfortable necklace. I think wearing jewels around ones waist is completely out of style. I like them utilized for a tiara. It’s quite pretty as is. The size of the diamonds makes up for the simplicity. However, it needs add-on pieces and I hope Mary does so.
So what do you do with your coat while you are in the hall seeing royalty? How many bags of equipment did you take into the hall? How do you manage to carry all the equipment into the hall and then back out to a cab to return to your hotel? I can’t imagine all the planning that goes into carrying everything around.
When you discussed packing and repacking I remembered all of the things we have lost or misplaced doing that. And, wouldn’t you know, the same thing happened to you!!! So happy you could work it all out!❤❤❤
Brittany, I love your channel. I share your love of all things tiara. You are too hard on yourself, and I cannot imagine this community requires all these apologies. We would never know of these minor mistakes or missed opportunities. Jet lag is real, and we can all understand oversleeping. I love the knowledge of history that you bring. Keep up the good work, and allow us to live vicariously through you.
Thank you so much! You are so kind! 😊 I was more disappointed with myself than anything. I thought I could have done better. But oh well! Next time perhaps!!
Queen Mary's uniquely beautiful tiara is stunning! Seeing your lead-up coverage to this moment has been fabulous. This tiara definitely needed to come out of the vault. It is historically sad that previous formerly Royal wives trotted off with other tiaras, vastly reducing the tiara's available to Queen Mary. This particular tiara makes Queen Mary's eyes become exceptionally more beautiful!
Congratulations on getting recognized by someone who works for a royal house! Very big deal! And for getting to be press at a real royal event. I remember you saying that was your hope for your channel and now its happening. Very exciting!
I loved your commentary, right down to the analysis of her makeup! I thought it was interesting to go through the pictures with you and hearing what you were experiencing while you were taking the pictures. I would love to be in the room with you!
Protect yourself Brittany. Use the watermark it is important. Also copyright if you have content. There are unscrupulous people who steal content. Having worked in marketing we always made sure any concepts or work had our copyright attached. And yes, Melania’s height helps her carry off most fashions. She has some stunning looks but it is true to her taste and style. Georgian period the jewelry had gold backs topped with silver to enhance the diamonds and gemstones. It wasn’t until later Victorian era that white gold was used and during the Edwardian period platinum started to be used.
Totally agree and there are enough diamond collets for that! The Rose-cut Diamond Necklace had around 63 diamond collets, having around 25 been used for the new tiara there still must be 38 left to be used as another row under the upper row of diamonds if wished!
I like Mary´s look, it is all very good - I just wish she had had more of an updo. The tiara lies very "flat" on her head. I think a slight updo would have lifted the whole thing. I actually liked the tiara better with her messy bun, because that was high on her head. Also, aren´t the diamonds very uneven? Maybe it is the cutting of them and it would be hard to fit them in a tiara. Not sure I like it actually. Will see if she wears it again.
It would be nice to see for a once Queen Mary and Queen Maxima side by side wearing their diamond collet tiaras just to compare them (size, number and shape of the diamonds and how back in their heads they go).
You can find a lot of great photos and explanations about these jewels through Danish documentaries and archives by requesting permission and maybe collaborating with Danish media. It would bring down your broadcasting time by 2/3 and the quality would be superb. I don't know if they would share with a TH-camr but the stories behind the jewels are integral part of our history and what makes them unique and interesting. At the same time you get a deep historical perspective and a full account of what the jewels are made of, how they can be worn in different ways (a necklace can become a tiara and vice versa), etc. It is by the way, Princess Benedikte, with the e at the end accentuated. In Europe if you pronounce it the way you do, it's often a man, not a woman. All e's at the end of a women's name have a marked accentuated e in Denmark. You say the name and end with eh. Susanne(h), Benedikte(h), Janne(h), etc. While I am here. Our Queen Mary is Queen Consort, this means that our regent is our King Frederick X (by blood and birth). We are immensely proud of Queen Mary and have great love for her, but it does not supersede the love we have for our King. Nor does it make her position equal to his. And she cannot be ruling Queen. There is only one regent and it's the King. When his mother Queen Margrethe II ruled, she was the regent. Now it is him. Not him and his wife. That's how it works. The Queen Mother, our King Frederik's mother, still carries the title of Queen. She has taught her daughter-in-law everything Mary has come to represent: Kindness, dignity, graciousness, affection, etc. Mary for her part has been an excellent student and learned her role magnificently. We could not have asked for a better wife for our then Crown Prince, now King. We truly love her ..... and our King. It is to his and his mother's credit that Mary has blossomed so beautifully. And to hers.
Can you box up the books you bought, go to the Post Office and mail them back to your US address ? Then you won’t have to carry them around and keep up with them. I would imagine they’d get heavy. Btw : my granddaughter and her husband are in their way to Paris today. 🇺🇸
When I just watched your video on her at the jeweler, I saw 2 different settings, did you? First is the way worn here, a connected length of diamonds in the tiara. What I feel like I saw was a second way to use the base by using the remaining diamonds loose, independently screwed onto the base. If this is indeed the case, consider the idea that she could add other stones in that fashion to the base. How versatile and fun that would be. I hope that makes sense and I hope that’s the case. Fingers crossed!
Can’t tell you’re excited! Not at all!😂. (Watching the walk in). Thx for sharing your great experience. You’ll have plenty more and get more experience. This is great to see.
How rude of the other photographer to get in your way , think I would have had words with him !!!!! Pleased you were there to show us the event thank you . Queen Mary is very elegant and a great asset to the country the same as our wonderful Catherine the Princess of Wales both commoners who married royalty and have treated Monarchy with decorum and grace
The diamonds really stand out against her dark hair. Those earrings, also! All just different enough from Maxima's collet tiara. This style is a showstopper. Thank you for your efforts! Great reporting. :-)
I have the purple/green/blue tartan plaid Holland Cooper trench that The Princess of Wales often wears! I am 5'10"-- it is definitely designed for tall women.
I love royal biography just wish I could get all the foreign royals in English I’m a Brit by the way 😂 love your channel so refreshing hearing about all royalty not just the Brits be proud
Hey Brittany, I am not into Tiara events at all, but I watch pretty much everything you put out because I LOVE your channels. The only thing I skip is when Harry or Meghan do a lot of talking in videos you comment on,. It's just I physically can't stand their voices anymore. You go girl, I wish you much success and all the best. Greetings from Austria 🙂
Im sorry, while the "Tiara" does look better than I expected...It's still very clearly a Necklace on a frame and Looks like a Head band ...NOT Impressed.. Those stones could be re worked into something Special
He did a fabulous job and we’re really proud of you. As to photographing people who are moving really fast, have you thought of talking to some sports photographers or taking some sports photography class that might give you some of the information you need just wondering
Brittany, dear. I used to be subscribed for a long time. Then one day you began to unpack packages of fancy clothes and I quit. But, as I see this one, I realize what a tremendous effort you do, thank you. I've subscribed again and shared.
Okay…I always miss the lives, but I HAVE to know…do you have your own “tiara moments”? If so…I’d love to see what you chose as your private signature piece!🤭(bought my sister her very own yesterday!) 👑
1:48:33 I´m not Barbara, in fact I´m a man! As to my question I think there were around 63 diamond collets in the Rose-cut Diamond Necklace. Having around 25 been used for the new tiara there still must be 38 left to be used as another row under the upper row of diamonds if wished!
Well done😊 This was not a level A banquet. The king "only" wore his uniform from the navy. 😊 So sorry about the weather 😢 ps Queen Mary speaks very well danish, and yes its horrible to learn, due to the pronounsation
I watched this documentary and interview with Queen Mary, the Queen Mother? (King Fredrick's mother, I'm not sure of her official title now) and several members of the European Royal Families. The set Mary wore to her first state event days before marrying Fredrick was worn to Napoleon's coronation as Emperor of France in the 1800's. th-cam.com/video/wzlCOE2HehY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=T9RFs3EmiKqO2lZk

So proud of you, Brittney! Glad you’re being recognized for all your hard work!
@@Pam-xx2ie hard work? It's her hobby, ha ha.
Queen Mary needed that tiara to go with those earrings, outstanding, so chic and elegant. I loved the brooch on the sash, just perfect.
She and Catherine epitomize regal serenity without compromising modernity. It is always so enjoyable to see them resplendent in their duties.
So eloquently stated! I agree with your point of view! ⚜️
Love the picture of Queen Mary with her new tiara!
Hopefully Queen Maxima of the Netherlands does not mind that Queen Mary made a tiara like hers. Think of as from one Queen to another Queen.
Queen Margrethe’s boys certainly have a type don’t they! Both Queen Mary & Marie are beautiful! Thank you for the great video once again!
This is VERY exciting, Brittany! It looks as though a set of Earrings were made from some of the diamonds, too. Queen Mary is stunning!
I love all the photos. Love your excitement of seeing the tiaras and Queen Mary’s makeup as I too enjoy seeing these types of events when the royals(any royals) are at fancy functions.
You got great pics of the tiaras! Really fun video to watch!
It looks lovely! Very comparable to the Dutch diamond bandeau.
I like it better, because it doesn’t lie flat on the head!
Saw a history of Queen Mary’s new tiara. Not a fan of rose cut diamonds, but seeing that tiara almost made me change my mind. To have them recut to make more brilliant takes away so much of the value. Thank you for your vlog. What a beautiful memory ❤
The diamonds are from the 18th century, recuts are completely out of the question, not done on historical pieces
The Stones is not recut, just the setting. So the value is the same.
Great job Brittany! How awesome and such a beautiful tiara!!
Good for you..🎉🙌😊
Video so fast but so fabulous too! Great job! Love the tiara!
So proud of you, Brit! You are doing such amazing work and making your career. Bravo!!
That is a lovely photo of Queen Mary.
Outstanding work, congratulations on your continuing establishment of skill and credentials.
I love the new tiara ❤
Mary truly beautiful, my favorite royal
This is AWESOME!! 🎉🎉
I love the simplicity. I have always liked the Dutch one.
Wonderful pictures and information Brittany !! ❤❤️❤️
You are wonderful Brittany. Your hard work is amazing
Hi Brittany. Watching from Medicine Hat Alberta Canada 🇨🇦. Love your channel. Keep having fun on your travels. Yes I was going to say the same thing. Queen Mary’s new tiara looks like the one Queen Maxima wears. Both are stunning.
I’ve always loved the name of your city!
Maybe name it Queen Mary’s Diamond Bandeau !!❤❤
Or maybe the Across the Pond Bandeau!
Double stress, you are not only a fan, but you work for your livelihood. You have always been reliable and gathered good amount of back stories. I love to see you enjoy your job and success.
I appreciate that!! Thank you!!
Queen Margrethe wore the Brilliant Cut Necklace on great occasions. She wore the Rose Stone Pendant for her 50th birthday - never the belt
You are living your dream and it's amazing to follow.
Alright Brittany ~ Your big coat has more negatives than positives, and the only positive was “keeps you warm.” The wool coat, with proper layering underneath, will keep you just as warm and you will love wearing it. It is justified.

I really like the way the tiara turned out. It is really simple, but that's part of its charm. I think it suits her. She seems very low-fuss.
Thank you Brittany! What an exciting trip!

Love this video -- thank you. Wish the UK RF would display the tiaras/jewels from the vault. I think it would be a must-see

I love the size of the rose cut diamonds but there is NO shine!☹️It did turn out lovely. Dang! I missed this live! Have a blast.
There are less facets in a rose-cut diamonds, hence the less glint.😢
I know. Just disappointed.
I loved your commentary, right down to the analysis of her makeup! I thought it was interesting to go through the pictures with you and hearing what you were experiencing while you were taking the pictures. I would love to be in the room with you!
Aww, thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoy the behind-the-scenes process!!

Should have added the small diamonds at the base of the larger ones in the bandeau style tiara to give it more subtle mass!

You have to tease and hairspray the hair on a tiara for it to have proper structure to hold the tiara in place. Her hair looked too flat.
Add a new hairstyle like Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.
Great job Brittany!
Hello everyone!
Great job Brittany.
Well done x
So cool!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the tiara
It’s fine. Be kind to yourself
The is a necklace in the Royal Trust of great diamonds called a rivière. Queen Margrethe wore it often, Queen Mary has also worn it
Queen Mary had a new hairdresser at the beginning of the year. He has a good deal to learn
Is she still MADLY IN LOVE with Maxima!?
Wow Brittany you have come so far so quickly. Excellent work🌹I so look forward to seeing you, every episode is so entertaining and educational.
Aww, that's so kind! I'm so glad you enjoy it!
So jealous of your new books!

It is by the way, Princess Benedikte, with the e at the end accentuated. In Europe if you pronounce it the way you do, it's often a man, not a woman. When I just watched your video on her at the jeweler, I saw 2 different settings, did you? First is the way worn here, a connected length of diamonds in the tiara. It's not a tiara. It's a headband.
It was lovely but I thought Princess Marie's tiara was more beautiful and regal.

Lovely shots! Do you know if she had those earrings made as well with the same diamonds to match the tiara?
Hey Brittany, I am not into Tiara events at all, but I watch pretty much everything you put out because I LOVE your channels. I agree , though I think that it would have looked better if her hair was set higher behind it .
Might be able to be reworked but very expensive to do. This way the basic integrity of the original item stays the same while making it useful.😄
Given that it started as a belt and not a necklace it’s managed to fool you enough
Thank you for what you do! I love the Danish ruby set, I ran to buy the book Royal Rubies (I got it for 10 USD) as well and it is so goood!
You always do a great video and so much content , thank you .
the diamonds came from the Brilliant set, there in Rosenborg !pictured with the brooch and diamond Riviera with pear drops
He did a fabulous job and we’re really proud of you. As to photographing people who are moving really fast, have you thought of talking to some sports photographers or taking some sports photography class that might give you some of the information you need just wondering

My wish for Catherine Princess of Wales, is a tiara of her own, from Prince William
