But I think it's a good strategy to agree to step down and work up to that position, Thank God you still have a job going for you so the "Car" Your CAR is still coming. Just keep pressing and praying You'll be alright as time flies by.
Emmily, a car is not an absolute necessity in larger U.S. cities. In my large city, inexpensive public transportation runs all day and all night - buses, trains, taxis, Ubers, even bike rentals. I get along just fine without owning a car.
Let no one lie to you that he or she will talk on your behalf. In these countries, the smiles are artificial. Mine was as close as yours, but I had to be got rid of, but another opportunity opened elsewhere in a similar line, which I'm walking on on. I do not know how thin the ice is!
Emily from what you said you are doing there is nothing of management. It is better to be ordinary worker then less stress. In management it is stressful, take money and enjoy your peace . Forget that post❤
that's so mean of that manager, she must have had her own issues & perception about you from the beginning... simply projecting her own insecurities... pole Emily ...hope the stars align for you in another organization...you deserve better
She does not offer you a ride because she like you,it's just because she fear if you get trouble you might mention that store ofcourse you would coz you work there, would you want to move to another state like Washington state?
Cz it's closer to home and I can walk to and from work without bothering other people to drop and pick me up from work. I can only look for, and work in other places when I have a car, which is what I'm persevering to earn money for.
@Eta544 yes I totally agree Memphis can be dangerous and she a stranger there well guess I shouldn't say stranger but she don't kn the city I stay about 45 minutes away from there over in Arkansas trust I love Memphis but need someone to be with at all times especially at nights I pray God watch over her all the time
Girl everything will work out. Please stop initiating conversations with her unless necessary. Also will you try more opportunities like part-time remote jobs to compliment this? Hugs!
Emily she wants you at the store because retail is always short staffed. Other thing, you gotta stop being soft/nice in America those hello and what not you will soon realize to stop saying them and mind your business. Training sorry to say so you’ll have to train yourself no one is coming to train you. You need to keep a straight face like you know what you are doing and find your go to person to ask and consult with.
I followed you in other clips and realized that you're not new here in the States. You're actya returnee from Kenya and we'll educated with degreed from the US. You hv great communication skills. Why don't you quit and find customer service jobs or healthcare where most foreign women work. Not only are they easy jobs but the pay is better and you're going to be treated with dignity. Relocate to Atlanta where there's so many of your fellow Kenyans. Please 😢
Be positive and be always on the look out of other best jobs ...so far so good stay strong and start learning your rights as an American
That's just part of a journey..challenges in challenges out...Keep going dear

You're in the wrong state how do you want to be helped? Can you move to midwest?
Start looking into healthcare retail is brutally stressful.
She wants you to step down at the same time stay so that she can continue using you and overworking you
In my opinion she is just mean.
Why work at a place you are not wanted, i mean its not like you are in Kenya where jobs are hard to come by.

I mean well. You're very eloquent and can easily get absorbed elsewhere. Walmart and Target(just to mention few stores) pay $15 and up to start.
