Always had a soft sport for Destruction Derby games and this game is no different, I used to own this when I was younger and played the shit out of it, I still enjoy it a lot so def recommend trying out this game.
You were playing the game wrong, it doesn't matter if you get in first place or not. All you need is the most points to win and get your car upgraded. The best and most fun way to do that is to go backwards on each track and crash into as many cars as possible. When I use to play this I could easily get 100,000 points ahead of anyone else in every track. My record is getting about 500,000 points in Jeremiah's track.
I don't know who had the worst ending canvas (gets gunned down by johnsons wife), Jeremiah (perishes in a fiery wteck trying to kill the red widow), scratch, (gets trapped in the same fiery wreck laughing as he perished), carver (gets the electric chair after killing a hells angels bike member), crane (dies in a fire in hotel after marrying the red widow on the wedding night).
I found my ps2 today after not having played it in 8 years. Literal tears rolled down my eyes when I saw this CD already in it. Had a blast playing this game again after so long. Man we really are the luckiest generation growing up in ps2 days.
Still have the game, still play it. Can't believe I still beat my old records on the tracks or arenas. Still using Jared Crane's car fully upgraded. Ah, the nostalgia. 7 year old me LOVED playing this game back then. Sad that I lost interest in 2020. But hey, we all grow up. Anyways, this game was a huge part of my childhood. I used to ALWAYS play on the first map, don't know why, but it seems fun to me. This game will always be apart of my childhood, and my life. Update as of November 3rd 2023: I got my PS2 set up and now I'm playing the game again!
It was good to watch very nostalgic but I will say some parts looked like a casual Sunday drive and to get points to unlock things you need to be more aggressive but overall very good
my parents would not buy me this game as we couldn't afford a new game at the time but we would often rent a movie and a game for me from blockbuster so i ended up renting this game for like a month straight and now that i think of it we could've deff afforded it if i didn't keep renting it :I
absolutely. i never understood why there was no similar game after dda. imagine the same gameplay, but with todays graphics, more tracks, more cars, more characters, a bigger story, more overall content and playing "till the last man" with 20, 30, or 40 cars online on one arena. what a dream
I remember seeing the Demo video of this game included in the PlayStation Magazine Demo Disc i owned. I would wanna try this game on my real PS2 fat, but sadly second hand copies of this game are rare to find (except for burned pirated versions). So my only choice to play this game is AetherSX2 Emulator
I got this game as free game when buying orginal ps2 from orginal Sony shop.... Actually this game is 499 Indian rupees... Next time I got wwe svr 2011 ps2
Really wish they did a remaster or a remake of this, at release this game got butchered to bits but man, its definitely my favorite. Still play this to this day, runs terrible though.
Red Widow is very hard to defeat race wise. Just wreck her in China Town 2 instead. As for the Dam, just complete the championship with all cars I think
The nostalgia be hitting hard tho, I loved this game as a kid and I still have it today!
i have my ps2 until today i played this game in 2013 i thought this game was great

Probably the most satisfying insta-death mechanic
I used to play this game a lot, and I do like some characters ending
You talk about the gutwrencher or skullcrusher right? 😌

Thank you for this, this was my favorite game of the ps2, played it non-stop with my brother and it was amazing

Where can I find the artwork and stories that you get at the end of finishing the game with a certain character?

If ever a game needed to be remade with PS5 graphics, this is the one

It's a billion dollar idea for whoever can come up with it. That game will sell like marlboros
@@TheSwishhouse Really? Because exists Flatout 2, Flatout Ultimate Carnage, Wreckfest and anothers similar games.
@@DelusionalReality1914 Actually no, the original game was a failure on critics and after that, the producers get bankrupt.
I have never touched this game except for Flatout Series and Destruction Derby Raw.
My favourite game is back ✨✨
poxa que saudade eu jogava muito nesse jogo eu ainda sinto falta do ps2 😢😢
I miss this game ❤😥 best game ever ... it was fun to play and make some hi-score points records
My fav LT.Johnson jr
One of the greatest of all time!
Such a shame this franchise is dead if destruction derby games we're still being made we probably would've got a movie
Such a classic!
One of the best games ive ever played
Wow big memories thanks for upload nice video buddy 🤜💥🤛
i played this game and i still want those golden rims that they were only on Trailers 😭. i had an obsession with that since i was 9
Probably a stupid question as I never played this one but is it literally just all arenas and no actual race tracks like the other games used to have?
Theres normal tracks as well that you race on :)
Bro the nostalgiaaaaaaa
Esse jogo era muito bom meu deus, finalmente achei ele no youtube hahahaha
Relíquia dms kkkkkk, lembro q na epoca eu n sabia salvar ent sempre q saia reiniciava

Even a port to ps4/ps5 would be good

how can i play this smoothly now
Use a powerful PC.
@@Victor_2000s Even with a powerful one, it's not possible. The emulation is not well optimized at all for this game

This would be an insult if it wasn't remastered
This game looks so much worse than I remember it
That nostalgia is real
