@MRFittedcap5950 rockets only offered offered artest a 1 year deal he wanted a 5 year deal. the rockets owned his bird rights. when he signed with LA he had no choice but to take a pay cut. look it up. best believe houston was artest first choice, it was about the money. bottom line is houston didnt want him period.. he joined the lakers and changed his tune about wanting a ring, then he started ranting about how the rockets cost him 20 million a few weeks later..
