The 'Cuse have had tons of great players over the years and this is just one of their super men. How in the world does a college from S. Central N. Y., near the Canadian border, get so many great players to go their? I am a Pitt Alumnus but have always been a Syracuse fan. In fact, I came to Pitt after we won the National Championship in Football in '77 and saw Coach Boheim in his first years. I'm from Scranton, PA and followed G-Macs unbelievable and under appreciated career for four years!

Wesley's career has largely been undistinguished since coming into the league, but if he's got one thing going for him that the Lakers could certainly use right now IT'S YOUTH. With Kobe serving as his mentor in recent years, maybe he could mold him into the type of player that Ariza was for them prior. The gold-and-purple sure has a way of transforming even the most seemingly ordinary players into key pieces of a potential championship puzzle...

It's funny because everyone at iowa state knew what this kid had. Wesley is a great player and will be a solid pro. Too bad he left , ISU would have had two first rounders in the same year :( Best of luck to Wesley!!

He might be the best shooter coming out of this draft.I would be happy if the sixers picked him or turner, but right now Im pulling for us to get turner. I'm a fan of both of them but to me turner brings more of that wow factor.

can you imagine if him and flynn didnt leave early? they would both be seniors this upcoming year. no way they wouldnt be pre season number 1. i guess it doesnt matter because the cuse will be strong once again this year
players develop differently, some quicker then others. nick young and wes johnson could develop into a khawi leonard and be great pickups for the Lakers this year. Young talent with vets like Kobe, nash and gasol looks good on paper.

This guy is coming to minnesota. If wolves cant trade up to second for turner, then johnson would fit right in with the #4 pick. It would force flynn to step up and he would have to lead the team. Hopefully he'll average more assists with johnson and brewer on the wings. Hopefully they dont draft cousins. I think he has bust written all over him. not only that, he'll probably cause problems for any organization in the future.

True. .It's funny, right after the last season I posted on Suns facebook that "Nash is too soft, we need an aggressive guard, also said we have to get rid of Lopez, Childress, Warrik & Telfair & Gortat & get a tougher guard a smarter, aggressive forward who can shoot & a 7'+ tough center" Now 3 out of 5 are gone, we have 2 new, more aggressive guards, 3 tall, aggressive forwards who can make points & play center. I still like to see a 7'2" center in a trade with Telfair, Brown & Gortat.No Gasol.
he going 3rd or 2nd overall in the to John Wall but he has one of the best jump shot in college he is going to go far in the NBA
