    i am a after death survivor. and i can honestly say there is a shift in consciousness, i drowned, and while lying at the bottom of the swimming pool i experienced complete calmness (shock) however i canot explain me being able to see in total clarity under water. i was watching people swim above me, while i was lying on the bottom thinking, its nice down here, ill just stay here, ill never get bk up there. then i was getting resuscitated at the side of the pool, the first thing i said was you ju

    well. they can save the money on all that experiments if they are ready to believe me. The mind(consciousness) is weightless, can see, possibly hear(i am not sure about hearing), can not feel or smell or taste, can float in the air and move without any kind of friction in the wind (basically an extension of the fact that it can not feel). I have experienced it and being a scientist myself, I have observed it very rationally. Most intriguing part is that it doesn't seem to have free will

    If you are really a scientist, you should understand that believing some one person tell a story about NDE is not enough to make a scientific claim about anything:D
