4:11 you don’t need to push that button again it’s just a hinge, plus it ain’t that cool when it blows open & hits something

Does anyone know much about the tracker on this van?
    How sensitive is it?
Like, does it notify the tracking app you you simply open a door?
Or simply put the radio on without starting the engine?
Need to know how much my boss can see 😂😂😂

Why doesn’t the basic model the leader no longer has the armrest which is going backwards for a modern van

Does it have a spare tyre or at least a provision under the van for one? Also does the gear selector have a electronic lock out so you don't accidentally slam it in park on the hwy thinking you are using the wipers? ( current owner of the outgoing model who understands what muscle memory is unlike ford engineers)

£250 for a spare tyre, and don’t forget it has the dried wet belt so when that goes it’s only 8k for a new engine
. Don’t get me wrong it dose look a beautiful van but the engine lets it down

The electronics won't let you put it in park at speed. Many many modern vehicles have shift by wire. Biggest failure with this one is you must use the electronic park brake rather than the selector do it for you.

Im sticking with my 2.2 why waste my money on a van with a wet belt engine.

4500 miles and oil life zero. £300 for an oil change. Still watching the oil life dropping every day......avoid.

I have a 68 plate LWB 300 Custom, runs great and I think the older style looks better, driving on a motorway you could always pick out a Ford Transit coming the other way because of the distinctive Driving lights ! Could pass as a VW, Vivaro now. II think an update would have been fine rather than new model, let’s face it why fix it if it aint bust, there’s just more electrics to go wrong, and as for lights this bloke must be blind cause the rear and front lights are definitely bigger on the older model but he is a Ford dealership after all so nothing unbiased of cause. I wouldn’t buy one. Not the price either allbeit pants down job.

Absolutely agree, I have the 21 plate shape and much prefer it over this new one

The driving position is a million times better in the new one, more car like with legs out rather than dangling. The front windows also no longer have the stupid car. Has been achieved by lowering the seats and pushing into the cargo space slightly. Well worth the compromise.

Almost as good as the old VW then.

It's better. Also, not one single component is VW. The 2025 Transporter is a rebadged transit custom, designed engineered and built by Ford using all Ford components and engines

It’s a Ford, so I’m assuming I’d be lucky to get 100,00km out of it before it dies?
