Happy to see the video, I have TBX 350 white, I brought on may, I have faced many problems.. 1. Fuel tank sound (loose fitting) 2. Engine noise (abserved in neutral) 3. While leaving clutch tak tak sound 4. Fuel gauge showing wrong. I went to service centre, they are seriously don't know how to solve the issues. Very much frustrated, very much bad experience, still I have driven only 2000 km, I have spent almost 2.1 lakh. My intension is, everybody should know about this, still it's not solved..but one thing I love this bike.. because of outlook and sound..
RE designers are the trickiest.... They will just produce an average looking bike first... Some random dude in the country will modify it in a beautiful way.... Now... RE will produce the same bike... In this new design.... If you are a RE motorcycle enthusiast I am sure...you have already came across very similar looking Thunderbird from local modifiers...based on the older version of the bike...
Iron Heart damn now that i think about it you are spot on with your statement. When i go out at night i see atleast 15 RE's with similar mods like this bike barring the color scheme only. And that too from many years ago

The rear mud guard offset issue can be seen from the BS4 model of thunderbird, seems like RE has not considered the shift of the center of rear wheel because of rear disc brake. The worst part is that the Company doesn't even agree to any such shift, though for the pillion it can cause quite muddy rides on monsoon days.
I have heard that the New 2018 Dominar makes fewer vibration and now the T'bird with its X version looks like a Dominar rival. Even the Mojo has a new version. A triple shoot out between all 3 n yes please add ur Editor in Chief Mr KS. He is an awesome review guy. Makes even mundane reviews a lot more interesting...

Dear Royal Enfield, please note that we care about the minute details in our bikes as it is the most dear to us, very valid points noted from 04:55, PS- i have never seen an RE rear fender which is inline withthe tyres. -Ex RE fan.
Just think about the fact that they send export units to other countries only with ABS since 2016. So this a shame when they skip on safety of Indians for sake of profit.
One thing that really bumpse out about RE motorcycles is that how the accelator's cable system is exposed in left side below bottom left corner of tank !
Seating position kharaab hai... No ABS.... No hazard light option... No backrest as factory fit... Aur sath mein mehangi bhi.... I'd rather only buy this only for color scheme other than that... A big no
ABS and a high quality finishing should have been added. And bar end mirror would give it more modern look something like a bobber. Better than this was expected
A pig with lipstick on is still a pig! RE should have added ABS, USD forks. Also should have given a mobile holder/charger as standard. Another good opportunity could have been to bring out a bagger styled bike on Thunderbird frame. Two solid panniers, and a back box to store helmet would have made this a good tourer option. Right now, it just looks like the old pig with a new lipstick!
Us kliye r&d chahiye aur machinery manufacturing unit b to chahiye. RE to C banake bech deta hai. I am damn sure that this can not beat fz25 in any circumstances which is 40k cheaper.

Thunderbird 650x would be a bike I would buy...the engine would be great, the looks awesome and performance etc would be nice too.. But I know RE won't bring it up now ..it will kept for the future...when they need to hit the market with something new lol
Its just been two months of my Thunderbird 500x purchase and I have had enough trouble. It was shocking to see that the entire silencer came off and it was 9:30pm where there were no garage which were open and the only option I was left with is to search for a cable which luckily I found in the roadside garbage ( accelerator cable ) and tie the silencer as it is for time being. How can one expect such cheap experience with a so called world class brand? I can write thesis, and would still fall short of space with the low quality bikes RE is coming up with and yet expensive. Its a saddest experience one can ever think of but is true.
Its just a Rotten Piece. I just got my second servicing done. The display panel stopped working and was replaced. Break pads needs to be changed, in just 2400kms ..wow. How good this bike is? I wont recommend. If you are fan of RE, go for old classic model but not this.
Seating upright is not good for for back in the long term it’s better to distribute weight between hands and butt ..even for longer rides. Hence this is a upgrade for thunderbird users as far as seating is concerned
I think I am missing something. Many detractors. Yet I have never heard some one who has one, even the ones who have had problems say they don't love the bike. They complain about fit and finish. They wish for better performance. Well I don't think I have ever met a biker who didn't wish their bike had better performance. Many of the detractors point out all the bells and whistles it doesn't have. Others like the low price because of the lack of bells and whistles. Others still complain that the bike is too expensive for not having the bells and whistles. Are we all talking about the same bike?
RE has done the blunder by providing alloy wheels. It will break when you do off roadin. RE bikes are heavy in weight and only spokes can bear the weight not allow wheels.
Build quality a bit off centre it shouldn't have left the factory without being de-bugged. We get Indian built Royal Enfield bikes in the UK and have done since the1980's.The first ones imported had build quality that was horrible the later bikes with the "new" 500 cc engine have improved beyond recognition . These bikes are now part of the retro bike craze used mainly for Sunday riding we don't get this model in the UK but it looks like it would fit in quite nicely if they can tidy up the rough edges.
Regular thunderbird is very nice looking and comfortable than new one.... Instead of developing this model they should have updated original thunder bird with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres... Or a new color.
the day when Bajaj will realize that it's useless to compare dominar with Royal Enfield that day they will succeed with it. a guy buying a royal Enfield buys it because he wants to buy one Royal Enfield. If he is planning to buy a dominar he will look at other options from other manufacturers, infact KTM Duke range is also a option for the dominar customers. They have to market dominar for it's strengths like it did with pulsar series with pulsar mania and KTM with all those stunt shows in malls and graduation colleges. haathi math paalo won't.

saket kumar it’s really strange why RE can’t fix the fender issue. A lot of people have commented about that. It’ll take some time for RE to get to liquid cooling. For example, the Bonneville didn’t have liquid cooling till about 2015. But yeah... ABS needs to happen. I guess it’ll take the April 2019 mandate for most Indian companies to offer ABS as standard.

The off set rear mudguard is due to the saree guard pulling it to the left.. I have a Thunderbird 350 which is from the very first batch of 20L tank model. I have the same offset in the rear mudguard. Royal Enfield has got to stop making recolors and start working on things like offering ABS on their 350 and 500cc machines. They aren't Hotwheels to make recolors. Grow up Royal Enfield!

Every month it has some issues ....Also RE charges more for servicing including service tax and all (as compared others bikes has very low maintenance cost)...Will same issue continue with Thunderbird 350x..?

Old thunderbird had a flaw while using front brakes., front Forks viberated. According to 2018 USD front suspensions would have been a great help.
