I personally have a really close bond with the Virar-Dahanu strech of the Western Line, as I've travelled during many of my low days to Dahanu right from Mumbai.
I was returning home a few days after the anniversary, and saw one of these trains going towards Borivali on the slow line while I was headed towards Churchgate on the Harbour line (in a WR Churchgate-bound train) having these fonts yet stuck on the front end of the train. Got to know the whole story behind that now, love the hardwork and dedication you guys put into this🤍🤍
In Tamilnadu I don't see any aniversary happens but I really want to do a appreciation ceremony for their hard work in the line....

I had actually totally forgotten that it was the day, when i actually saw the local arrive at Boisar Station in the morning, it looked beautiful and just as i saw it... My mind just knew it "yes..Saurabh bhau has done once again!!"

I have a really personal connection to the DH EMU. My fondest memory is when I used to take my 5 year old son to Boisar on my work assignments. He really enjoyed the ride, especially the greenery on that route. He has passed away last year, but the memories remain in my mind, one of the best in life.
