Someone told me this once: to understand Reiner and Bertholdt more, think of them like the pilots that bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki. To some, the two of them are considered monsters that murdered hundreds or even thousands in cold blood. To others, they were heroes. But to the two of them, they’re just soldiers following orders, and now they have to live on with that as well as continue following orders.
To put it better, imagine them as pilots who bombed Hiroshima and then had to live in Hiroshima, hiding their identities, living as part of local people. That's how they got the guilt building.
This is an interesting simplified perspective, although I agree with one of the replies: it gets a bit more complicated when you consider that they’ve also infiltrated the walls and lived among them.

Lol of course Eren wouldn't be able to keep calm like he wanted to. As soon as he said he had to remain calm, I knew he wouldn't be able to do it, which was understandable honestly. Tensions were running high at this point, and old wounds reopened full force. Him verbally clashing against Reiner and Bertholdt was a given, and it was beautifully done. I felt that tension building and building until it finally snapped. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Reiner has dissociative identity disorder (split personality). As seen, he basically has a soldier and warrior personality. I find it sad really. All that guilt and trauma of what he did broke him. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but he went through with it anyways. I think that says a lot about what their situation is like. As for Bertholdt, he looked so cynical and jaded. Even when Eren was screaming at them and calling them mass murderers, he looked like he was just taking it because he knew what Eren was saying was true. He may not be broken to the extent like Reiner is, but I think all of this is still affecting him in some way even if he doesn't outright show it.

So while it might appear to be a spoiler, it is the intended interpretation which is lost in translation.

But now that you think about it, imagine Bertholdt. He had to watch over Reiner so he didnt say anything about them being the ones that broke down the wall. He had to keep quiet with no one to turn to, not even his best friend. All he could do is watch while Reiner broke down in front of him because of their actions. He had to make sure they finished whatever it is that they are trying to accomplish while keeping all of theirs sins and weight on his shoulders. I mean, all he really wants is to go home, but not alone. He could have abandoned Reiner, but decided to stick with him. Even to the point of choosing to help him over going with his other fellow Warrior. Hope you guys can at least understand him, even if that means still hating him. The Warriors are all quite interesting and sad in my opinion.
A lot of attack on titan can be interpreted in a new light on a second viewing after learning more about the mysteries of the show. The fact that everything is there, but you just don't understand it or realize it yet, is one of the best parts about the show and makes it so rewatchable and so rereadable for the manga

I doubt you guys will be able to see the upcoming episodes clearly because there's gonna be a gigantic pair of ball hanging from the screen blocking your view.
The problem with Black Clover is it's takes a while to get good (or more like not annoying, aka time to get used to Asta's annoying voice), and while it's pretty ok shonen with likeable cast and good moments, and later on nicely animated fights it has nothing special. Sadly everything is guiding me to prediction that it will most likely go Fairy Tail route aka - nobody dying(ie most recent manga chapters, god it hurts how cliche and bad that "save" was), no stakes, bullshit power of friendship winning fights against enemies with 9000 higher power lvl and 14125412 times stronger and more flexible magic (demon who can use ridiculously strong magic just with words losing like a bitch) etc. They had very promising arc with elves taking over human mages and epic emperor (Julius?) vs light dude fight just for it to be concluded with "oh actually nobody died and like 2 people had some wounds, also emperor sacrifice was bs retcon he's here just without his wrinkles and with much less power till story needs him again). It's not bad, but there are many better & much shorter shows to watch.
