Hi. I am really curious who sent me these beautiful stamps! Thank you so much! Please comment or drop me an email. Also, for everyone else: what towns were new to you? Which one didn't you hear of before? Thanks for watching!
Hallo Chris, thanks for a nice video. Wow, you got a wonderful gift of precancel stamps! I am sure you will enjoy looking at them again and adding them to your collection. Life is plentiful, and the philatelic community is generous! Best wishes and take care!
Hi Charnie! How is moving house going> Hope everything works out for you and you are not too stressed! This community is generous and wonderful indeed. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@chrislovesstamps Hi Chris! We are progressing well with unpacking. I still have to unpack a lot of my stamp things. I struggled to finish a video, but did that at last. Special greetings to you!🙂
"Wow, what an incredible surprise! The collection of precancel USA stamps is truly impressive-such a unique and rare find. It's amazing to see the history and detail of these stamps. Thanks for sharing this awesome unboxing experience!"

Thank you for your interesting video. I always enjoy them. Thank you also for sharing this wonderful gift from the collector from Sweden. You have some very nice stamps there. The US pre-cancels were mostly used on first class mail so the denominations used are fairly small. It was nice to see some higher denominations in this collection. Good luck with your collection.
Hi Jeffrey. Ah, that is good info about the first class mail, and that explains why the denominations or often the smaller ones. And also, why I am so happy to find higher denominations. Indeed, I got very lucky, not only with such a wonderful gift, but also adding some more towns and finding higher values. Do you collect these by the way? Thanks for watching and commenting.
Good evening. excellent replenishment, postage stamps are great, I also have several US stamps in my collection. but with the seals of the cities I see for the first time.
Hi Serga. I think with the city cancellations (precancels) they are a bit harder to come by when you are not from the US (or North America) I think. At least that is the case over here. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Wow! Not only is that a wonderful gift, but it must have taken the person who sent it some time to select all the different stamps for you. How many different precancels are there to collect? I will have to go back to your previous video to remember how you planned to organize them. I recall that you made some pretty impressive pages:)
Hi Martha. Must've taken a long time indeed. I am not sure how many there are. I think I read in the 10.000's. There is different cancellations and also used on different stamps and then the amount of cities/towns. It is in a sense a very unique collecting area. I made pages for every state. At some point I hope I have a variety of towns from each state. As yet, I am not thinking of collecting them in the 'hardcore' way that some people do. Precancels are not that easy to come by over here (The Netherlands/Europe). Thanks for commenting and watching!
It was nice to see at least a few New Jersey cancelations. There is also a Salem in New Jersey. The Pennsylvania one you were not sure about is East Stroudsburg. I am surprised that there are so many US precancels in Europe. I collect Belgian Railroad stamps (Q numbers in Scott) (TR numbers in COB ) and it is hard to find them unused here in the US.
Hi Robert. Are you from New Jersey? I think there is a precancel society over here. But the precancels feel less common here than in the US. Belgian railroad stamps are very interesting. Frankly, I don't know much about them, but read a bit about them a while back. I cannot remember seeing them too often over here, but maybe that is that I am not looking for them. I assume they must be more common over here than in the US. 'COB' is the catalogue that Belgium issues? Thanks for commenting and watching!
@@chrislovesstamps Yes I live in New Jersey so I only collect New jersey precancels. I do belong to the Precanel Society. COB is the abbrevition for what the French call the Belgian catalogue but the Dutch (Flemish) have a different name for the same catalogue but I do not recall offhand what that name is.

Very informative. Looking forward to your future videos.
Hi. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Some great USA stamps there along with the cancels !!! Very enjoyable !!
Hi Jeff. Yes, I like them a lot/ Does Australia have something similar? Thanks for watching and commenting!
the only stamps we have in Australia that remotely resemble the USA stamps a little bit - just a little bit - would be the KGV stamps :)
Now that's a great addition to your collection displayed in your last video! So freaking happy for you, Chris!
Hi Laurent. Very nice additions indeed. Nice to discover new towns. stamps and cancellations.
@chrislovesstamps Always great hearing from you, mon ami. Cheers from Provence
Nice collection, I have quite a few in my American stamp collection. They are very interesting, it would be great to collect every state etc.
Hi Jerry. Now I am curious about your American collection. Thanks for watching!
It's surprising how many there are...woooo
Hi Roger. Yep, quite a lot! :-)

Port Arthur, Texas
Hi Dennis. I put that on screen too, in the video. If that is what you are referring to :-)
Merhaba, Amerika'daki eyaletlere göre damgalar çok güzelmiş. Teşekkür ederim.
Hi Burhan. Thank you for watching and commenting. And yes, very nice cancels :-)
