    Good explanation and video...but looks quite cheap and flimsy for the price, not that that's your doing.

      Hi ballynoes, thank you for watching and posting your comment. To be fair it's fairly solid once in place, you will get twisting when its not fixed in place, however i feel its not really any different to the original part which it aligns too. Are you looking to use these or are you going to make something instead?

    How do you find the floor threshold ? It looked a bit flimsy when installing and it looks like with the slightest knock it may move and be quite annoying !

      Hi Rosscoooo, thank you for watching and asking your question. i can confirm this is not filmsy, while it is easy to cut with a jigsaw, you will notice i do support it while cutting. We got no noise from it what so every, even when i turn up my music loud, there is no resonances. As you can see in the video i added holes to enable bolting to the original bolt holes for the bulkhead, hope this helps.

    What size bolts did u use for the side pieces

    • @Alivefrom45

      Hi Philip, thank you for taking the time to watch and post your question. There are no bolts in the side panels, they are fixed in place with the provided self-tapping screws which come as part of kit when you order panels. I hope this helps, if you have any other questions please feel free to ask them.

    Great video.
    Quick question. Do you plan on insulating / plywood finishing inside the over cab storage?

    • @Alivefrom45
      @Alivefrom45  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi John, thank you for watching and your question. We have not put plywood in the top of the cab, we used dodo mat insulation for insulation and just made sure we covered everything, putting ply up there we felt it would take up room and reduce storage. Hope this helps.

      @@Alivefrom45 ha ha cheers, im in birmingham, i can manage, did you have to put the wood baton on the top bit?

    • @Alivefrom45
      @Alivefrom45  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We stuck the baton to the roof rib beam, with marineflex, I then screwed up into the baton. Don't forget to cut slits in the baton so it bends to the shape of the roof.

      We took 13 months to get our build complete, but of course they are never finished.
