Enjoyed the demo, but constantly adjusting the settings without hearing the effects of the adjusting was rather annoying. I would have like to see more radical adjustments and then heard how those adjustments affected the tone, rather than constant small tweaks. Just saying.
Damn, that Jet Fuzz sounds fucking insane!!! By the way, you're pretty handy with a guitar my friend. You would't happen to do a review on the Line 6 FM4 Filter modeler?
shnobel Yeah, I checked it out. It's a fairly useless pedal, except for the tron down and tron up. Have you heard the song "Throw Away your Television" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers? In that song John Frusciante uses the "Obi-wah" setting for the floor unit. Anyways, keep it up!!
I'm guessing the other three stomp switches are used to save and use presets you can program? Can't say for sure because you didn't mention it in your 10 minute review...
Do you have experience with Line 6 MM4 modulation pedal? I am wondering if buying one would help me with building a compact pedalboard but without making a compromise in sound. Or is it better buying each individual pedal (chorus, phaser etc.). Good demo and playing..thanks for the video.
Good Sounding, I know this guy is trying to show all the sounds but he adjust too much. I saw where Steve Hackett was using this pedal on his board, I know because I was there and got pics of his board.
Has anybody compared the DM4 to the M-series distortions? I know the algorithms should be the same, but I wonder a difference in components effects the sound quality in a noticeable way.
Theres some good tones from this but its flavored with too much of a line 6 sound and digital crunch in the background that I don't like I don't think I'd get this pedal thanks for the review though
I like some of the tones your getting, but unless there are a couple of the distortions that sound good on the same settings, you may as well just carry a single distortion pedal.
Leave the eq 's at noon, set gain full, vol 60 % & only turn the different distortion mode knob only.....because.......YOUR DRIVING ME NUTZ !!!!!!!!!!!!!........stop over fiddling around 🤮
Actually keeping the volume set in the same position wouldn't make the volume consistent on these, each model resets to its default volume, some loud, some quiet, so you need to reset the volume whenever you change model if you want to demo at a consistent volume, unless you save a patch in the 4 slots. Also why would you just leave the gain full? It's better to show a range of gain. And all the eq's have a different function depending on the pedal its modelling, its not bass, mid, and treble on every model. Sometimes they have a different function.
Never thought it would actually sound this good
People like to take a dump on digital pedals but this is KILLER. The things that let it down are the crappy footswitches.
The color drive sounded the best once you’d dialled it in!
I have all 4 of these pedals. Yellow Purple Blue & Green. Love em all.
There are 5!
You need red!
@@rccj2038what did the red one do? Forgot
@@GlennJimenez amp modeler
what about red? (AM4)
Best distortion pedal ever, metal AF.
Other demos left me with a bad feeling about this pedal. Regardless, your demo does the pedal some justice. sounds great!

I wonder if the models clean up nicely when you roll back on your guitars volume knob?

Thanks, i actually did a demo of the Filter Pro heres the video ibYqGIL6Bl4 or jut search Shnobel Filter Pro in youtube

Thanks, great video and so complete :)
yes they do sell it
My Strat is a Eric Johnson Model with the Maple Neck with stock pickups
Nice demo!!
Good video !
What kind of amp are you using??
I feel like fuzz pi doesn't sound like a big muff at all my big muff by EHX has a lot more fuzz when cranked up like you at one point strange
Would really appreciate it if you did the demo with all of the knobs at 12 o'clock. That way, we're gonna hear what each pedal sounds like.

Great demo! What kind of Strato do yo have? is it a MIM? It sounds great!!
1:52 interstellar overdrive?
awesome
is it worth 150$ for one of these?
Why are there 4 foot switches, what does each control?
Each programmable

How did u get ur tone like that I plugged those settings into my pedal and they didn't sound nearly as good.
What amp are you using? alot of the sound depends on the amp with this pedal
shnobel fender frontman 212r
shnobel it sounded closer on my strat how do u make it sound good on a les paul
ethancase123 I only used a Fender Strat this whole demo
shnobel that's probably why I'm not good at getting good tone so I just wanted to figure out how
Do you set presets on it? What are the 4 les lights for
Michael Kitterick they're four banks where you can store your settings. Led on = preset on :)

you can get one for around $100
get a hd500x its got the lot

what idiot would buy digital boost/drive/distortion/fuzz??? I could probably build all 16 for under the rrp as well!
+Duke Ukulele line6 shines with delays/modulation/reverb thats why i got the m9 i dont see why anyone would use it as their main distoriton haha
An “idiot” like The Edge from U2, who has used it to record several multi platinum albums. Guess you’re smarter than him!
It's a good pedal - and it models many pedals you wouldn't be able to build at all. It's not just boost/drive/distortion/fuzz, it's SPECIFIC pedals.
