I don't know if Ben Close still remember me, but I'm really happy for the guy. It was a pleasure to play with him for a few week when he was on break from the academy. Chuck
Ok performance still not great let’s not get our hopes up because we all know what happens when we win a match everyone gets there hopes up and the next game we play awful but let’s keep our fingers crossed 🤞
Christ ! We nearly lost to these clowns ! Sorry lad but you may have won but……if things don’t improve you will be taken apart by the better sides ! (Got to say, that free kick was sublime !)
Its a win albeit and unconvincing one and ill take it but its still not good enough conceding 3 goals at home to the side thats bottom of the table, we just cant seem manage games well as shown when when we threw away a 2 0 and 3 2 lead ,and the only reason we beat rochdale tonight is because their so poor and handed it to us on a plate , if we defend like that against Carlisle theyll tear us to pieces no question. It just exasperates me that schofield continues to encourage playing out from the back when its clearly not working that and lumping aimless balls up to george hoping hes going to get on the end of one hes not that type of striker he needs the ball into feet , we need to start improving and being more consistent if were going to keep our play off hopes alive.
@@owstonlad3859 what i mean by it not working out playing from the back is williams and anderson instead of using the fullbacks who have got plenty of space to get us on the front by feeding the wingers persist with playing silly balls into our defensive midfield players who are getting swamped by the opposition and getting dispossesed and giving them a free shot at our goal happened a few times last night and we got lucky, and as for George hes not gonna win much in the air to be honest against most centre backs in this division hes more effective with the ball at his feet or a short ground pass in behind. Im just saying we need to get the fullbacks and wingers more involved and utilise George in the right way and be more quicker with distribution and think before we make that pass or more often then not were going to play ourselves into trouble.
@@owstonlad3859 listen mate im not trying to have an argument with you im just having an opinion , i never said we should sack Schofield and i never claimed to be a manager im just saying what i see which is serious defensive issues and consistency problems which are clear for everyone to see and need sorting out im not the only rovers fan who thinks that surely.
@@matthewroberts5396 You listen here pal, I didn't say 'you' should sack Schofield, I did. No one is stopping your opinions, it's just that you try to be too technical on a simple game of football.

Great goal by Charlie Seaman 👏🏽
Doncaster Rovers 💪💪💪💪💪
Good of the team to push to the last minute, but conceding 3 goals, at home, against a side in 23rd ain't a good look for our defence
Ben Close used to be my neighbour when he played for Portsmouth
0:28 good goal
And this 1:17
Ben Close right
Number 4 booed most of the way through, then scores the winner
Both the keepers are shocking

Well Matthew, if he can't play from the back and hoofing the ball up front isn't right then can you explain your tactics please?
