    I work here now,
This airfield is occupied by Cox Automotive and Manheim Auctions and is now used primarily as a location to repair, inspect and prepare vehicles for Insurance and Leasing companies. We have cars on site ranging from Porches and Range rovers to your average daily car all 2020 reg and newer. It’s a very secure site and has expanded a lot since this video. It’s an amazing place to work. It is also the site of Hangar 42 which is quite a popular place for renting high end vehicles when visitors from other countries that are of importance can rent a vehicle for their time in the UK.
I understand the appeal of Urban Exploring as I do partake in the activity myself however please be aware that it is a dangerous site to set foot on if you are not working there and is no longer as empty as it is in this video. Security patrol 24/7 on our site but you’re more likely to get hit by a car being relocated on site if you pop out as there are some tight and blind spots here where your life is majorly at risk. From my understanding the repairs and auction businesses have been on site at Bruntingthorpe for 8 years or more now.
    Loved the video guys!

It’s a fantastic site, my friends wife works there for Manheim, were always very careful when exploring, you never know what you may encounter, any danger involved etc.. I’m really pleased with this video in particular because a lot of the vehicles what were on site are no longer there, thankyou for your comment and we’re glad you enjoyed the video! 😊

I used to work on that airfield, i can tell you, its manned 24/7, theres motion sensors and cameras literally everywhere, your better off driving up to the security hut when its not busy and just asking if you can have a drive around, if they understand its for documentary purposes, and they have time, they will grab someone like me who stayed on site most nights to give you a guided tour, i loved working there lads, one of the most enjoyable jobs i had

Russell Nelson getting up close to the planes like we did was a bucket list tick for me especially, as I stated in the video we didn’t come to cause damage etc and would always be extremely respectful to all property and anyone we may of encountered, having the aspect of potentially being caught did add to the thrill of the experience I must admit but the main thing with all of the videos we’ve put out is giving the mundane reality most of us face day to day a shake up.. you only live once kind of vibe.. they are all experiences that I will take with me through my life and look back with fond memories, I hope you enjoyed the video and I can understand why you enjoyed working there as much as you did 👍🏻

@@quadprop3606 mate, i used to cut planes up, we had a hanger full parts to play with, 3 or 4 cockpits out back, i used to sit in the cockpit of the newly landed planes listening to atc on my dinner break, sat in the captains seat 😁 jealous yet? 😂 I did graft hard at the job though, if you call towing planes round with a tug grafting, ok, so i did other stuff, but mate, who can complain? 😁

@@quadprop3606 it's a shame the aircraft side of things has been ended due to new ownership of the car company

sapper my friends wife works for the car company that’s now on the site, I didn’t know it had effected the plane side of things and yes that’s a real shame, I’m even more pleased that we managed to get the footage that we did considering everything plane wise coming to an end now
