I missed Vlaada Chvátil, Simone Luciani, Eric M. Lang, Vital Lacerda and Ignacy Trzewiczek.
Jamey Stegmaier, Ryan Laukat & Reiner Knizia are my top 3, but there are so many other great ones as well.
Bruno cathala and Jamey stegmeairer are my favorites.
Fun video! I was surprised that Wolfgang Warsch didn’t crack the top 10, but overall the list makes sense with some of those huge FFG titles. The list seemed to lean not so into the euro category 🤔
I’ll give my top 5 and favorite game from each for the fun of it:
5. Alexander Pfister - GWT
4. Jamey Stegmaier - Viticulture
3. Simone Luciani (and peers) - Grand Austria Hotel
2. Wolfgang Warsch - Quacks, Clever, and The Mind
1. Uwe Rosenberg - Le Havre, AFFO, Patchwork, Bohnanza, Nusfjord, Second Chance
Moral of the story is play more Uwe 🤙🏼🤣
Trent Ellingsen well, if you liked feast for Odin, just play that a few times 😂 but you can really jump in at a bunch of light stuff like Second Chance and Patchwork. Both brilliant designs that get played a ton in my house. Next big box game after AFFO...probably Le Havre. Just a great example of get/convert those resources to build stuff.

No Feld or Luciani? Not a true board list without them in my opinion. 😁 Inka and Marcus Brand also deserve mention. 😁

Figure out the difference between game authors and designers....sometimes the same person(s) sometime different. The two of you show your age and lack of perspective. Few of today's authors would have a clue if not for the pioneering efforts of Sid Sackson, Alex Randolph, Klaus Teuber, Wolfgang Kramer and Reiner Knizia. We truly live in a golden age of gaming. The number of Eurogames the two of you haven't experienced is staggering. Analytics based purely on derivative samplings of subjective numbers prove nothing. BGA needs contents from reviewers and columnists who have experienced 25+ years of gaming. You have a serious bias here towards the recent. I've been organizing a weekly game group on LI for 30+ years, learning 2+ new games weekly....that is perspective.
