I just did. Now you say it the mouth is massively different. Thanks for pointing them out. Also thanks for watching. Don't forget to Subscribe. Only two more Fuerteventura videos left to come. But plenty of UK fishing between now and when I head back out there
The saddled seabream is actually an annular seabream. I also think the majority of your mullet are thick lipped mullet. You can make out the papillae on the top lips on some of them. When you fold the pectoral fin forward on a thick lipped mullet it also goes over the eye. On a thin lipped it doesn’t reach the eye.
Thanks Scott. I didn't think to check the Bream. Just saw the black spot and thought saddled. The Mullet weren't thick lipped though. They fought, felt amd looked different. After a bit of goggling I'm happy they're Flathead. But might be wrong. Too late to change the videos now though
Hi how long are you out in cdf for i will be out there soon and fishing from the 9th your videos have gave me lots of info on where to fish and adding the location marks is great for holiday anglers
Thanks Gary. I came home before Christmas. If you look in the descriptions the Google maps pins are there or the spots I fished in each video. Hopefully you catch loads. Fish small and you'll have a fish a chuck
@LRFandHRF I fish big I luv the fight of the 3 B's Bonito Bluefish Barracuda I will be fishing a boga live bait at distance floating bread for the mullet I carnt wait
Hi, really enjoy watching your channel and really enjoyed your fishing in fuertventura. I'm off to Thailand next week and I'm taking my Lrf gear with me. Can I ask what diameter hook length you are using for most of your Lrf? Regards Andy
Thank you Andy. Nice of you to say. I beat Thailand will be amazing. Not sure of the diameter but I use 6lb fluoro so it fits through the smaller hook eyes. 8lb on my rod for 5g and 10g lures. 25lb on the heavy set up. But 99% of the time I use 6lb
That’s great spot we’ve caught some great fish there ,sallemas, zebras, saddlers, stripped bream, white. Bream and parrots up to 2 kilos ,unfortunately the last time we fished their the lady working on the paddle boards shouted at us and said she was phoning the police,we were very disappointed as it was our favourite Spot 😢
Yeah I like that spot. There was allsorts hitting the bread that day. But only managed to hook the Mullet. I never even considered parrot fish would be there. I guess they follow the tide in? I had a couple of "I'll phone the police moments" too. But I'll definitely be fishing this spot more when I go back.
I think they're OK if you're not casting right to their pontoon. I was out there in December so it was very quiet. They only asked me to move when I was in the walkway to their bit. Oh and in the morning at dawn when I was over the chain past the blue crane haha
Thanks. But LRF is purely artificial baits. This was a one off using bread. I had a Couches Bream out there on isome which is in another video on the channel. This was a Vanford 500 in this video
Same way it shows in the video really. Loose feed small bits of sinking bread to get them feeding and competing. Then let yoir bread slowly sink amongst it. They take free lined sinking bread better than if you use a float i reckon
@TheEditor1234 that's amazing. Nice to know i can help. Get yourself down on the Breakwater. Little hook. Static dropshot and you might find a Filefish too before you leave. They were sat about ten foot right of the bouy when I was there.
Did you try gulp/isome for the mullet? Golden greys are very predatory and love a few maddies slowly retrieved. Great videos BTW. They are really making me want a holiday abroad even though I hate the sun 😅 Love catching new species though.
Thank you. The next video that'll be posted was me righting the wrongs and catching LRF Mullet. I used the body part of a shirasu and was really effective
Last beauty on video is a sharpsnout seabream. Another species to your tally👍🏻
Really? Never heard of them. Thought it was just a large White Bream. If it is that'll make it 29 species out there
For sure, comper them on google if you want.Love your videos btw.

Don’t worry mate, I subscribe all ready. Waiting for next episode and all the best in 2025 season.
@@LRFandHRF I concur. As well as the sharp snout they have more stripes than a white seabream too.
Great video as always, and a brilliant day's fishing 🎣👍
Cheers Steve. Bread or not i loved it ha
Another great video. Nothing wrong with a bit of bread in the harbour on holidays. Who hasn't!
Thank you. I know its not a bad thing. But LRF is 100% artificial. But had to be done. And will be doing it again for sure haha
All good in my book! Catching vs blanking, I'd much rather catch! 🎣🎣👏
Thanks Matt. That was exactly my thinking. Catching is fun. But had to warn the purists haha
Good going! Looks like you had fun fishing the best method for the day!
Thank you. I did indeed. It would have just been Black Goby and Ornate Wrasse all day if I hadn't fished like this.
Awesome video
Thank you. Loads more over on the channel too

@@LRFandHRF Sorry, but this, for example, is a thick lipped mullet…

Thanks. I'll know for next time. Wont be reeditting and uploading this one. The next one will probably be wrong too. Ha
Thx 🎣
No problem 👍
I don´t want 2 be rude, but the Saddled Bream, can it be a diplodus annularis?

@ hi yes will try again I think the paddle board hire stops at 6 pm so we will try it after they have gone home

No worries. Hope you get some. Just remember, don't cast until they're feeding and competing. Let me know how you get on
@@LRFandHRFwill do I was talking to u the other day and you helped a lot I bought about 6 or 7 different fish 2 lizard fish and about 5 striped bream

What rod are you using? I'm thinking of taking a travel rod
In this video it was a 3g Apia Grandage. I took 5 rods out with me. There's a playlist of ten videos on my channel if you're interested

Can i ask, did you have to buy a licence before you went or did you get one there please?
I bought a 5 year one online from the link below. Hassle free. Quick and they email a pdf to print.
