Great video as ever. Those grey ghosts of the estuaries cab be so illusion. Spent many a happy hour on the dart and in Brixham harbour trying to tempt mullet. Some times it works, other times they just laugh at one’s efforts.
Loved this one guys, been struggling with mullet this year. you made it look easy 😂 very informative will be trying out this method next time thank you 👍🏼
Great little video guys, I'm a coarse angler and never fished for Mullet so certainly not an expert but could you have used a landing net to get that fish landed?
Thankyou mate! Haha yes bang on, we definitely could have done however we just didn’t have one with us. Long story but we didn’t even know we were filming a video that day until about 30 mins before so didn’t have one with us 😊
@@TheFalAnglers Considering you had no notice you guys did really well with that video, I'd definitely have a try for Mullet in the future for sure, they certainly hang on!!!
Are they thick or thin lipped mullet around Falmouth, Penrhyn and Mylor. I see them swimming around the moored boats but don't know which ones they are.
Most likely thick lips, but you will get a few thins and potentially golden greys about too. But 99% of ones around pontoons and boats will be thick lips 😊
Worth a go mate. The second mark was down a different estuary though, but a secret mark unfortunately 🤫 Good luck if you do go!! It certainly was a shame 😅
Haha definitely. As said in a previous reply, unfortunately we didn’t know we were filming until literally about 30 minutes beforehand due to plans moving around, so we didn’t have one with us 😅

Thankyou! 😊 They certainly can be. Sounds like great memories you have of targeting them too!

Thankyou mate, glad you found it useful and informative 😊

Thankyou mate. They are a nightmare species to catch, keeping them on the feed helps a tonne though! Definitely worth it, let us know how you get on 😊
Hooking one up is usually hard enough, well done for that! Another nice video, perfect length, lots of info. Early catch and release 😢
It certainly is isn’t it! Thankyou very much 😊. Haha yes this one didn’t fancy posing for photos 😭
How unlucky was that lol. superb fishing, great video
I know right, it was hooked perfectly in the mouth too! Gutted!
Great stuff lads👍
Thankyou mate, glad you enjoyed it

@@TheFalAnglers Thanks for taking the trouble to reply.
What river was that? Liquidised bread is great
The first mark was up Penryn River. It is indeed, they absolutely love it!!
Oh I know it. Will have a crack at that. Thanks for a great video and shame it got off. A real proper one too

Another great video, pesky mullet, so close, yet so bloody far!
That's why it's called fishing, and NOT catching!
They are so frustrating to catch sometimes aren’t they! Thankyou mate! Yes it certainly is, especially when it comes to mullet 😂
Get bigger fish with Tesco bread.
Ironically Tescos bread is better 🤣
And turd is also a favourite of mullet 😮
Landing net required…….
