What a great start of video 😊 I like this house very much 😊 29:40 - amazing view. I have no words.. 😊 And such a great end at 40:50 - the rock in a fog 😊
Once again, Henry, you did a fine job of showing us Canon Beach. My husband and I love watching tour videos and we appreciate your comments and narration. Especially the caring touches of stopping to show a stores unique sign or to see a “bunny”. You’re the best at what you do. Thank you for what you do for us. We love you and your work so much.
Loved this! I walk to and from work every day, about 2 miles each way, and when I watch your videos as I walk (being super careful of traffic etc, obviously) and it feels like I’m actually there! This is on my ‘go to’ list when I go to visit Oregon. 👌 Thank you again!
Nice time walking on the beach in Oregon. Would be fun to get up close to the "Hatstack" rock . Many beautiful photos have been taken from a variety of angles over the years. Thanks again for showing me another beautiful new place
Ok, I'm only halfway through right now and taking a break. Often I look for videos without talking, but I really liked you giving us this "tour" and your exploring nature. Also you looked around you and gave great views of the area. I visited Oregon a few years ago and didn't get to stop and explore as much as I would have liked to. I probably won't make it back there. This is awesome. I really love that you share these walks. Thanks. If you ever come to Maine...yeah, some beautiful walks here too!
Hi Henry. My best memories for 2017 year, when i slept i falled in Portland where was 3/4 munites. By truth say Oregon one of the mist beautiful states. Thanks for video.
My daughter and I visited cannon beach. People were driving their cars onto the beach so we thought...why not? We drove too close to the water and got stuck in the surf. Fortunately a kind guy pulled us out!
Visited there a few years ago to see Haystack rock and the tufted puffins. The bird singing at the beginning of your video is a white-crowned sparrow, but I’m sure people have told you that already. Enjoyed the walk! Thanks, Henry!
Very nice walk,. I understand Oregon is the rose capital of the US, but I did not see roses. Yet I saw so many beautiful flowers, especially many hydrangea bushes. I guess when you got through with your walk you got some fudge, something from the bakery, some ice cream, some pizza, and some coffee and perhaps a beer (H-a). Thanks for finding a way to let us see the haystack.
Hi Victoria. I'm not a fudge fan but a HUGE cookie and coffee fan so i'm sure I found some of those. Or maybe a beer. (ha.) Thanks for watching. For some reason, I can never remember the name for "hydrangias" and "Rhodedendron". Weird brain blank. -H
Back in the mid-80’s, Cannon Beach was littered with sand dollars. U could just pick one up for memorabilia of the area. (I went to college at Pacific University). However, when I finally made it back to the area in 2015, I brought my 2 daughters with me n we hit Cannon Beach n Haystack Rock. There were absolutely zero sand dollars on the beach. It made me sad to think something so plentiful was now non-existent. ☹️. Anyways, keep it coming, Henry! Njoyed the vid as usual! Aloha 🌺
City Walks I just Googled it n it has something to do with “brown water” n diatoms in the water. They said, as of 2018, that the beaches in Astoria would have more of them as that area has more “brown water.” 🤷🏻♀️
Really cute neighborhood! 😊 I bet this looks pretty boring and normal to most Americans but for me (an Austrian) this looks so special haha 😂 Greetings, Manuel 😄✌
Hello there I loved this as I do all your videos especially Scotland I am thinking of starting up another channel I will call it running tours around my bed room lol see you again soon Thanks
Would it be possible to add more image stabilisation? Love watching these, love the time of year/ temperature intro and start location! but the head-bob makes me seasick.
I used to have a great little z-axis stabilizer but it broke and they are made by one guy in Australia. (ScottyMakes). I bought a cheapo version on Amazon and it isn't as good. I'll look into getting another one from Australia but it may take a few months. Thanks for watching and sorry for the unwanted movement. -H
@@CityWalks thank you!! I didn't know it was hardware based, thought you maybe could up a software setting somewhere. I'll wait, and keep testing the first minute or so of new uploads.
Great video. But I got to ask, why did you stop just before the best part? Haystack Rock at low tide! Anti-climactic! Do you shut off a tie game just before the end?
Great Work my Friend @City Walks! I'm here to support you! It will be a pleasure to see you on my channel! I will always come back here! I wish you a nice WEEKEND!

Kind of a sad story. I wonder if it's because they are dyeing off or because people pick them all up?

I think I was using the DJI Osmo Pocket for this one with the external mic adapter and a cheap mic with wind protector. -H
Great video. But I got to ask, why did you stop just before the best part? Haystack Rock at low tide! Anti-climactic! Do you shut off a tie game just before the end?
Well, this was in the midst of Covid and there were lots of people in that area. I wanted to go up but felt it was wiser to stop short -H
In terms of oldschool-arcades and recreation, would the Northern Oregon or the Southern Oregon Coast have more of that stuff, and why?
I don't think so. Most of those are long gone.
from kuala lumpur malaysia
