The third installment of the CORN FED series. Indianapolis couriers and riders alike, ride through the city streets of Indianapolis. bongscottharris Soundtrack: Om - Gethsemane Sleep - Holy Mountain Om - Thebes
Even though this video is 11 years old, I just discovered it and the feeling is still genuine today. The connection between music and action is exciting. I do MTB and ROAD, but I'm thinking about a fixed wheel without brakes of course. Thank you Scott for this gift.
I love this. No gimmicks, no frills, not about the money. The focus isn't all about the best parts or even the best rider. Just raw, real riding with homies. And straight mashing at that.
I know the video is already seven years old, but I unfortunately discovered it only now. For me it is one of the best videos on the subject of riding a fixie. The fact that it was shot in black and white and the fast cuts makes it look absolutely authentic and not as posed as many other videos.
i was just telling my homeboy bout how we remembered how pumped we would get back in the day before we go out and fucking mash during rush hour traffic on our hood alleycat shit. good times man, RIP TO MY HOMIE OBESE FOR SHOWING US THIS VIDEO, CORNFED 4 LYFE, NO HESITATION, NO BRAKES, NO FUCKING FEAR BABBYYYYYY
This is the best fixed city video on TH-cam. Nothing captures the energy better than this. Also, this video pretty much changed my life because I now have TWO bikes, and I ride them every single day, rain or shine. Thanks for repping our city and don't stop riding.
+RuFi0000000 same here, i work as a msg. when my legs fucked up in the morning and its pissing rain outside this vid motivate me a lot. Thx for this amazing piece of art.
+RuFi0000000 word. it's my most favourite fixed gear video because of the perfect mix of a great soundtrack and nice riding scenes. can't wait for CORNFED 5
I keep coming back every so often to get my CORNFED FIX. Absolutely love the video and the way it was put together, the color, or lack there of, along with the Kick Ass Music by Om. Thank you for sharing.
I watch alot of fixed gear videos on TH-cam and I gotta say this is my favorite. I just stumbled upon it today and I've watched it like maybe 4 times. I rode my bike after watching it the second time and ripped through the streets and gave no fucks while doing it. Like the Grinch and his heart growing 10 times my balls grew the same way after watching this. I think its the music selection that helps. For me anyway. Cheers from San Antonio, Texas. Y'all.
my bones are too brittle and old for this, but boys this is seriously good shee-at! Strictly gears for me but still love fixed gear too. I love the cinematography too. Whosever idea it was to film in black and white was great decision.
I was a courier in Boston, Boulder/Denver. Late 80s early 90s. I rode a 52/15 fix with a front brake. As far as I can tell, I was one of the first fix riders in Denver.. just moved there from Boston. Other messengers were like..whoa!
Is that my dude Clarence Jones in this mix? Man 2020 or 7yrs later and this dope broll is still ahead of its time! Nice work! Stay up Hoosiers. Stay on them 2s.... Idgaf if its a walmart cheapo.... Continue to rep the movement!
this video got/gets me so fucking pumped before i go out and mash w/ the boys, and its still so fucking good and the craziest part bout it is that even with how long the video is, cinematic wise, its so good and still feels so fucking short. replay and the authenticity of it is fucking sick and the music is literally chefs kiss 🤌
The GoPro's were mounted on the head tube or seat post. Cool tip, you need custom longer bolts from your local hardware store in order to mount a GoPro on a 1 and 1/8 head tube.
I think the thing that I absolutely love about this is how its not a 100 percent fixed gear video. I love riding fixed but I see videos where all the kids are doing is riding fixed through the streets and it makes the video look... hmm... I guess less serious. As if the kids are only riding because fixed gear is cool. But this video has a diverse culture put in it. Its not a "fixie" video. Its a bicycle video with people riding fixed in it. You guys kick ass!
my first member of my "outlaw SS/FG team just got a temp job for a 100 dollars so i dont have to buy him new tires and seat, ect.... this vid hits my emotion level- we will be strong given the every ten minute hill climbs we endure here in the mountains... this member will eventually be my #1 film man- and im coming to compete, i dont expect to win against full time messengers , but im a monster in my own ss mind and i plan to make those who let me hang with them race with hangovers !!!! then we drink again !!!!
woah awesome good music, very nice choice to make it black and white, and good skills It is first one Im watching, if the rest is also so nice then I got some good time in front of me :)
I prefer the more modern threadless stem for practicality because it's easier to swap out to different bars, grips, brake levers etc. due to not having to moving the bars all the way through the stem. But the classic quill type stem definitely looks cooler, if you aren't always chopping and changing parts like I am,
That's was up.. Damm good riding.. U ride freely throu traffic.. Pretty dangerous moves there slik..2each this own nd u owned those streets like a bandit riding nd gliding smoothly driffting into traffic.. Nd making it home in one peace... 4a goodnight sleep.
We have hung out before when I was downtown a couple times. So more like acquainted. Well tight I'm trying to get two to four in this year and been finding people that might.
I had the opportunity to stay there in downtown Indianapolis (very nice place btw), and 49/16 is quite reasonable for how flat it is there. I'm from the Bay Area and the usual around here for most of the more serious street fixed gear riders is between 70-74gi. Yeah these guys can be reckless sometimes, but that's of their own choice. Nobodys holding a gun to your head telling you to throw yourself into traffic.
Hit a million views this year (2024). Thank you everyone for the love. Cornfed for life!
man, this is high level shit
Even though this video is 11 years old, I just discovered it and the feeling is still genuine today. The connection between music and action is exciting. I do MTB and ROAD, but I'm thinking about a fixed wheel without brakes of course. Thank you Scott for this gift.
Rad! Love to hear it!
@@SKEPTICPROD Although in the video I see that Emmet Culp has a freewheel and brakes. Jajajaja.

this is just a timeless video. the cinematography is simply stunning. Watched it I don't know how many times and it gets better with each viewing.
It’s 2025 and this is still the most epic video ever made about fixed gear riding.

Indianapolis looks a lot cooler and bigger than I imagined. 🤷🏽♂️ Def one of the better fixed vids out there!
I keep coming back every so often to get my CORNFED FIX. Absolutely love the video and the way it was put together, the color, or lack there of, along with the Kick Ass Music by Om. Thank you for sharing.
This is the video that started it all for me.
Beautifully done. I never get tired of watching this video. Music is perfect riding a bike in the jungle. Nice work Scott.
We choose the hard way .. Our way ! Bike way 💪🏴☠️
fixed bikes, al cisneros, weed. all in one video perfect!!
The switch to nighttime in those conditions-the density of that traffic-Wow
i just had to pause it . this is dope !!!
Oh man being a bike messenger must be so coooool... lol
+Nunya Bix haha, if low wages and high risk are cool than ya ;)
I don't care how many times I see this video it's purely and totally kick ass.
I am more than satisfied with the choice of music.
Puts you in a trance!
Mark just sprints like a madman
That's the spirit. To all of you guys out there: Get a fixed gear bike, preach freedom and peace and hit the street!
one of the best fixed vids on youtubes.
Best city bike video on youtube with none of the usual hipster shit
love it
2024 Still Watching this ❤ SLEEP is a great band. Seen them in Ottawa Canada.
Sleep once, Om three times!
@@SKEPTICPROD That's what I thought too... 🤔 Thanks for pointing that out, another great Band 👍
Stunning. This is the standard against which all other bike videos should be judged.

Some crazy footage showing the thrill cycling the city streets of #Indianapolis on a fixed wheel! Captures the life on board, great video thanks Andy

Thank you, like I said before the average here in Indianapolis is 49/16 or 80-90 gear inches.
Damn man this is crazy. Mind blowing
Great shots great editing, one amazing video

Excellent video!!!!
2024 just found this 🔥🍻
Love to see it
BadAss Video...at 39 now and I would never stop riding fixed here in Manila...Ride FuckinSafe Everyone \m/
I'm impressed that some of you can skid like that while in drop bars. It's just so much easier with any other kind of handlebar.
i think it differs for each person. for me its easier with the drop bars to control the bike.
with hands on drop bars, the weight is more up-front of the bike, makes the rear end of the bike lighter, which makes skid easier actually...
great video. two things are really dig. sleep/om & fixed gear bikes.
Love this video it’s always fresh
