Thanks for this. I just ordered our very own Vango Capri 600XL after a very exhaustive search - well, not for the tent - I was sold pretty quickly on Vango, but for someone in the US that sells air tents!! I could not find ANY store in the US , which was really surprising, so it's being shipped from the UK (Outdoor World Direct). Can't wait to test it out in our backyard as soon as it arrives next week!
Robyn, so great to hear you loved the video. The 600XL is a great tent, especially fall and spring. Please check out intentsglampingusa.com. There is a direct link to Camping World UK to purchase with discounts. And tons of ideas and information. Please watch our other videos and let us know what kinds of videos you would like to see. Thx.
After five years and owning six different inflatable tents (one shelter) we have never had a single problem - not even having to put more air in a tube. I think we have about 80-100 days of camping in air tents with tubes. The shock cords in one of my REIs gave out after about five years.
Good question - The porch you see with this tent has an optional mesh vestibule and yes a ground sheet came with that option. I had to take it out as the rain 2-3 in several hours mudded up everything in the front wet section. In most cases (not all) a ground sheet will come with a vestibule but make sure to ask. You can always use a tarp but ground sheets that come with vestibule might have hooks or buttons to attach the ground sheet to the tent part. Thx.
If your talking about the porch/patio extension it would not. And the new model of the Vango Capri series is blue. Contact Vango or Camping World UK and they can help you find parts to older tents.
Megan, on this model 2018 there is a pole at the front of the tent (to keep costs down) the patio covering lapped over the top and then was guy lined down on the sides and in the front. Its similar to the video of the Kampa I did where I have the extended canopy on it (see Best Small Family Air Tent video to see it with the canopy). Hope that helps and please share with others. Thx
I have a Vango Banshee 300 and a Vango Pulsar 200 tunnel tent that I use in the colder weather. They are excellent for staying warm since they are made lower to the ground. I have the Kampa Brean 3 inflatable and it is a excellent tent for most seasons and a lot easier to set up by yourself. The Kampa is easy to take down and move to other camping sites. I do most of my camping in Michigan.
Stephen, you have some really great tents. Vango is a great manufacturer and the first to start the air beam technology. I use the REI tents for technical/primitive camping but love the air beam tents for family tent glamping. Please check out our website and let me know what questions you have or more things I can share. Our focus is on the 3person on up air tents for standing room, visibility, zones, entertaining and ease of pitch. Make sure to get our bogs and articles too.
@@intentsglamping I have purchased a Outwell Cloud 3 tent that I will be trying out this fall in Michigan. It has a little more room than the Vango tunnel tents that I own. Outwell is another European tent and they also make a lot of air tube tents. I like my Kampa Brean 3 because it allows me to have the extra room to stand and bring some of my camping equipment into the tent. The Outwell Cloud 3 is for a quick setup and take down when moving around to various camping areas throughout northern Michigan.
@@stephenhouse6194 I recently purchased the Outwell Cloud 3 too for a regular camping tent. Nice vestibule with windows and two doors. I might do a video of that later. Check out the latest video of our Outwell Clarkston 6a Tent Mahal and how we have tricked out.
Great question. I actually look and evaluate tents periodically and I don't know of any American manufacturer (the tents seems to be all made in China) makes a tent that has clear plastic windows, inner tent zones, triple panel doors (mesh, panel, clear) or don't require rainfly's. That is why I started InTents Glamping youtube channel and intentsglampingusa.com website and I talk about this dilemma in my new book Entrepreneur to Millionaire which you can get the link at revenuegrowthcompany.com. I own several REI tents from 2, 3 and six person tents and they all have a lot of mesh. no way to heat or cool.
Eddie, depending on your browser there is a link on my website - intentsglampingusa.com to Camping World UK (not USA). That link will get you special discounts or discounts not offered to the public.

How do you like your airbeam tent so far? Did you have to pay any import taxes?
Eddie Peele if I did, it was probably included in the shipping price.
@@robynbutler4858 have you had any issues with your airbeam tent so far?
from your experience, how durable are the air beams?

Does the tent come with the porch ground sheet or did you have to order that separate?

Would this fit any other vango tent
