24 HOURS with KOREAN MONK

A private temple stay in Korea is not what anyone can experience. But we had a chance to spend 24 hours together with an actual Korean monk. He invited us to a temple stay with a few other quests. If this sounds crazy then it is, watch the video to find out more about who is this monk and how we get invited.
This temple stay is with invitations only, therefore I can not tell you the location or info on the whereabouts of the temple.
We had lunch at a soba noodle restaurant where the Monk usually goes.
The monk took us to a Korean teahouse. The view and scenery at the tea house were breathtakingly beautiful. I wish I knew the name of the teahouse.
The temple we stayed in is 500 years old, but the old temple has been destroyed over the years and the premise has new buildings built.
For dinner, we had locally picked spring herbs, with sashimi that the guests brought and rice cooked with herbs. It was a simple meal but delicious.
