Excellent as always. No disrespect to our great Rita Moreno but it was interesting to see all of these documents which prove that she sometimes either got the info wrong or fibbed a bit. She always talks about her matters family being from Spain (wrong!) and that she left PR in the middle of the night with her mom leaving behind her abusive dad and her (Rita's) little brother that she never saw again and here we clearly see that she lived with her dad, stepmom etc. in PR after her mom left. I do wonder about her little brother because there is a lady in the Facebook genealogical page that says she is his daughter, etc. But I still love Rita Moreno and I thank you for all your work primo!!!
Hello. I'm very curious. Manuel Caraballo Candoso is my 7th great-grandfather. I knew he was Portuguese but I never heard or have seen any documentation about him being captured by a Dutch captain. May I ask what your source is? Thank you and thank you for the video. Good job!
Thank you! Manuel de Caraballo de Candoso is my direct male 9th Great-Grandfather. Here are my sources: A.G.I. SANTO_DOMINGO,156,R.4,N.44 A.G.I. SANTO_DOMINGO,173
I have Lopez de Victoria in my family tree as well but I feel like I hit a brick wall. I haven't been able to go as far back as you have. Or maybe I just don't know what sources to use to look further.
Thank you for sharing this information. I love her work!
De verdad que eres un experto en tu area.
Bastante precisa tu investigación, excelente trabajo.
