As long as the phone has the possibility of the battery catching fire while charging, don't think I'll be picking one of these up. BUT it's nice to have a review for when they swap my phone out for a "fixed" version.
People I live with are all paranoid about my phone burning the house down, had to explain to them the issue can only occur while charging, so if I only charge my phone while I'm keeping an eye on it and I unplug it as soon as it's done charging, there's no chance of issues.
Like the matte black look on this charge case though. Very nice.

I had one of these before giving the note 7 back to ATT for the recall. Both the phone and the external chargers would get SUPER hot. I liked both items though, and hated giving up the note 7. Can't wait for the note 8, or whatever replaces it.

That case looks cool! It will definitely make it better to hind the phone. The Note 7 has smooth feel to it. However, it feels like it is slippery smooth.

@implosion gaming yeah i had to make alot of adjustments to get the most out of from charging after i noticed the charge was weak. I even went as far as just tuning the phone off to see how much charge i get and i never got past 30%. i think its defective like floss mentioned. Ill give it another shot just to see again.

It's not samsungs fault that one of their battery suppliers provided a faulty batch but it's their product so they're liable.
