I hate to tell you that isn’t even the correct mandrel for that bit. The correct mandrel is larger and had two prongs that fit into the holes on the back of the hole saw. If used correctly, that mandrel required no tools to change from one hole saw to another. Yes it costs more money. The mandrel you have I think is designed for smaller hole saws.

@@gabrielacuna5981 Home Depot sku 233438. That is a 3/8 version, there is a bigger size as well.
