I had a myomectomy ( i have that CS scar) in April 2019. The fibroids were so huge combined they weighed almost 3kg. Literally the size of a newborn. The quality of my life has improved so much since that procedure. Right now I just want to have a baby. Cos I 've decided if they come back, im having a total hysterectomy. I was already anemic prior to surgery but had to have 2 pkts of blood transfusions after & was in hospital for 5 days

    Sami......
Sorry you had to go through that. I also had my fibroids removed but it was during covid. The hard part was my family couldn't even visit in the hospital.
Im also anemic, so I had to get 4 pints of blood, and I stayed in hospital for about 4 days. Thank god I was on my dad's medical aid. I can't even count the blood work I got because I'm anemic.
The amount of pressure doctors will put you through to have a baby asap is crazy 😂.
