My nana used to use a stone jar with a wax paper seal. I still have the jar but unfortunately it cracked. I still make it every christmas or sometimes because I love it. It's good with fried eggs instead of toast
I love white pudding unfortunately you cannot buy it anywhere near me now, I make skirlie from oatmeal which is just the same ingredients as for your white pudding recipe I simply fry it, I use often fat from beef or even a chicken that I've roasted it gives it a great flavour
