The sound of that ST is something else, no comparison to the majority 2.0 litre hot hatches on offer these days. Great work chaps, thoroughly enjoyed it!
2.0 litres are no on offer these days in hatches..... Even smaller engines with turbos to make up the power. 2.0 litre hatches were the pinnacle of the hot hatches. Ep3s, Clio's etc....
@@David-rv9kj yep still running absolutely spot on. We swapped ECU from Syvecs to EMU and road mapped it. Drivability is a lot better now. The only thing that has failed is the fuel pump but that was sorted within a week.
I remember 10 years ago when everyone said more than 300bhp through the front wheels was pointless & undriveable, 2021 and people are more than doubling that figure, crazy!

I have Ford Focus mk2 and I’ve currently got about the same miles on the engine, my question is, would it be worth it to do a rebuild on the engine ? The engine it’s self has no issues as far as I’m aware but the exhaust is pretty f***** up defo needs a new one, it’s like hanging on for dear life 😂 it rattles over bumps or when I put my foot down a bit heavy 😳
Needs some help hopefully the revo knuckle can help. Its pulling like a champ seems to wonder under heavy torque more than top end looking at the vid bit of a give away the issue.
Not really I own it and the problem is its lifting under power and front end goes light. Hopefully the antilift kit that's going on will help with this.
@@ianhill20101no it's called lift which it's why it's called anti lift kit I drive it and understand what it's doing. It's not pulling to one particular side the whole front end is lifting under acceleration and the steering is going light my friend.
@@simosST let us know how the knuckle kit gets on with that 800bhp ford put a plaster on the problem, south wales end. Not bashing thw cars a monster but grabbing as tge torque shoots of the scale rapidly is inevitable at that power level plus fwd

@@simosST that my friend is called torque steer, unequal length driveshafts will never deliver torque evenly no matter the diff
