hey! mayank, actually for first year student the option of selecting the type of room (AC/Non-AC and number of beds) is only given. They are not given the liberty to choose the room or the block. I you choose an Non-AC room you'll get the P block (its too hot). And if you select an AC room You'll get the M or N block.

It was not actually as good as the Btech, but it has improved a lot since its establishment and the placement packages have improved a lot and is almost equal to that of BTech (to be clear, speaking about MTech. Integrated software engineering). It all depends on the student how to utilize the opportunities. If you are good enough, you'll be rewarded better than BTech. But if there is a priority list between both BTech and MTech, I'd say BTech (again MTech is worth it but priorities should be sorted).

Hey if you are in EEE i must say that you should definitely join HOR i.e. Hands on robotics event in which you will get a kit and would learn basics of many things. The things that will be taught in the event will be highly useful especially for EEE student(p.s. I am also a EEE student)
