    Hi Aleksey, great tutorial! Liked that you covered all the main points so clearly and quickly to achieve such a great result. I was wondering if you had any tips for creating light refractions that bounce off and through the glass onto surrounding surfaces? I can't find any tutorials that speak to this and I can't figure out how to make it work with some crystal glass that I've created. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

      Glad it helped :))
      Sorry never done it myself, but I'm pretty sure you need small light source for it to work. So a direct light or point light.
      In 3d those things are called caustics. I think you would be able to find a tutorial about it.

    Hi Aleksey, Cheers for the great tutorial. Do you know is it possible to render this material with a transparent background? For the purpose of compositing in different software, such as After Effects?

      yes you can, but im not a 100% sure how to do it. But search for compositing tag. it has some relevant settings i think.

    How about a node based version?

    • @ace5
      @ace5  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Um.. i think it's the same, they have like a universal node. Honestly i only used nodes to pipe the same image into multiple channels, so not really familiar with them that much
