Caverry Amma & Vidya Recipe - Pulincurry

- The authentic Palakkad Brahmin cooking in Tamil.
Ingredients :
Veges like yellow pumpkin, drumstick, ladies finger, tomato, brinjal , capsicum or any of your choice
Green chilly 1
Tamarind 1 gooseberry size
Turmeric powder ¼ tspoon
Jaggery1 small piece
Coconut oil 1 tspoon
Salt to taste
Water as required
To roast:
Coconut oil ½ tspoon
Asafoetida 1 small piece
Thuvar dal 1 ½ tspoon
Coriander seeds 2 tspoon
Fenugreek seeds ¼ tspoon
Red chilly 2
Kashmiri chilly 1
Curryleaves 1 strand
Shredded coconut 3 tbspoon
To temper :
Coconut oil 1
Mustard seeds ½ tspoon
Curry leaves 1 strand

Yes u can add also urdu Dhal (this is called Udupi sambar in Karnataka)

Kalchattyla oil add panni fry pannalama
Only after it is well seasoned - (takes 10 days to condition well) & after it is well used continuously fr at least one month. Then only you can put oil first/ add seasonings/ then continue as usual.
