Kapiel, I had the same experience as you had. I was doing chakra meditation a month ago, and it felt like someone/something was there behind me. I got scared and had to open my eyes and hence had to stop doing the meditation. Now, I also want to do that meditation only under the guidance of a guru, or in a group setting. That way it feels safer.
I would recommend also a copy of the New Strong, by Rose Rosetree. Has techniques you can use, and also information about the difference between Human, astral, and Divine, that can help you.
