Awesome! You are living our dream! How is your tommy fitted to your ute? What is the dry weight? Did you have any work done to the ute for the additional weight of the tommy? How many litres does your water tank hold? Do you an instant hot water gas heater? How & where is your shower set up? Happy travelling, Dani & Tony

Awesome! Thanks for the comment! It's fitted using the U shaped clamps, provided by Tommy. Dry weight is probably around 450kgs, wet it is around 600kgs. We had a 3500kgs GVM upgrade by Lovells. Water tank is 75l. No hot water - just the JetBoil :) We mainly showered at public showers or caravan parks. Didn't feel like we needed a shower as it would require more water storage. Happy travels! Cheers, George

    Looks great
You should have no problem selling
We are in the process of getting a S6X
We are only just down the road in Gladstone

Thanks, it’s a reluctant sale as we have enjoyed living and travelling in it so much!
Awesome, you made a great choice there.
Enjoy and happy travels in your new Tommy!

Such a simple but thought out setup. Love it. How does it handle in the wind?

Yeah, it's simple but works well! Thanks mate. It actually handles the wind really well! Especially compared with other canvas tents we have used in the past!

As Rach said below ... very deceiving ... it is like a TARDIS. Its sort of a roof top tent but its not a roof top tent and so much head room, nice set up

Thanks Garry! Agreed! We have been very happy travelling around Australia in this. It feels very spacious inside, so nice to have somewhere to sit when the weather is bad outside!
