    Fantastic video.
    - the drawing from scratch was helpful to build the concepts incrementally
    - the use of colors helped differentiate well
    - audio was perfect
    Appreciate your effort

    I am a fresh grad and currently working as an instructor from one of the state universities in the Philippines and I've been handling environmental science which in my college years I did not have a background because I majored in soil science. I study first, learning the topic and mastering it before I will share it to my students. This video made me easily understand the atmospheric circulation. Very interesting it really do helps! Thanks a lot!

    The remaining question I have is why did you draw the 30 and 60 parallels. Why did no you draw the 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 parallels in which case the same reasoning would lead to a completely different wind pattern. What is the physics behind it?

    Why do westerlies go in the same rotational direction of Earth... Can anybody explain, please? It doesn't make sense that they go along with the rotation.

      I'm so glad someone else feels the same it doesn't make sense to me surely they should all be deflected the same way due to the way the earth turns but no and none of my teachers can explain it to me

    I have searched and searched but I cannot find any explanation for the Westerly winds. I understand the movement from north to south but not why they move west. The only explanation I could find were because of the Coriolis effect which does not make any sense since that would be to the east and because of the Hadley and polar zones pulling the which also does not make any sense of why the move toward they west. It's kind of like saying a car engine runs because of filling the tank with gas. Can you provide an explanation?

    • @AlmightySlam
      @AlmightySlam 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I can't find an explanation either. If the corilois effect is displacing the wind, shouldn't they all be moving west?

    Mam i have studied about this terms furious fifties, roaring forties what are they?
    And how is equitorial westerlies created?
    Please reply to this questions or someone suggest me some youtube videos?

    • @technicald.i.y3097
      @technicald.i.y3097 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      in the southern hemisphere the westerlies are very stormy as they do not have any obstacles coming in their way that is 40 - 50 degree south latitudes so this latitudes are called roaring forties and furious fifties. hope you liked it 😊

    Interesting story, these are called horse latitudes because since their was no wind their, traders sailing their had to drop their horses in sea in order to reduce weight to gain speed.
