Not labour, but as a child I had a big accident and really cut open my leg badly. Before going to the hospital I was slapping my other leg and it really helped a lot to reduce the pain! I'll be slapping my leg a lot when I go through birth 😆
This type of technique also works if you are struggling mentally. If you need to distract yourself mentally, you can slap or pinch or do something else that is not harmful, but that gets your brain's attention. I wish more people knew about this for both physical and mental stuff.
The pressure you’re causing when squeezing the comb helps so much because it’s trying to distract your brain from the pressure of the labor pains, helping because our brains can only focus on pain at once so something as small as acupuncture with a comb or slapping your leg like @jocybum
My 4th was a "miracle birth" - less than an hour and she was there . . . Painless labor, 2 pushes. At every contraction I prayed "Father please carry me, I know You are carrying me, I am being carried" - it was miraculous. With my 3rd, my water never broke, he was by far the hardest. I'm so blessed to have had 5 at home. "The Business of Being Born" is a great intro to home birth if anyone needs that. Also Bridget Teyler's TH-cam channel. God is so good. I love that you talk about praying through labor. We don't deserve this beautiful life of motherhood!!
Yes! My husband prayed in my ear as I pushed each time (4 babies) and that was always the thing that helped me keep going and give me the calm that I needed.
I love how evident it is how adorable Kiernan finds his wife just through how he frames her edits. He let's her giggle and be silly and I love it. You guys are goals. Edit: I've watched two of your birthing vlogs Sarah and they're so inspirational to me! I'm status post miscarriage of my first pregnancy but I have faith better things are coming and I love collecting all these little nuggets of knowledge from you and Kiernan! Thank you so so so much and God bless 🙏 ❤️
Hope all is well with you! I miscarried my first pregnancy as well. Not something I would wish on my first enemy. Now I have a healthy preschooler and I’m 6 months pregnant with another! Hope you’re blessed soon with a healthy pregnancy, if you haven’t been already!
I think Kieran's captions are hysterical! I would leave them on for a split second longer because I found myself trying to pause and rewind in order to read them haha
Not pregnant and not even married, BUT you've definitely made me realize that I would love to try to have an at home water birth when the time comes. So, thank you for helping me envision a future family life that I would like to cultivate.
I’m 38+3 with my first baby, planning on giving birth naturally with no pain meds at a birth center. I’m totally bringing combs because of you! Prayers for a smooth labor and healthy baby would be appreciated ❤️
I’m two days past my due date, so I could use all the prayer as we play the waiting game for my baby boy 😂 I just wanted to say thank you for all of your videos on pregnancy, labor and delivery! I’ve gained a ton of helpful info from you sharing your experiences. It has been awesome to see your newborn content as well, and makes me so excited for my first born’s arrival!
I am also two days past my due date 😊 Is this your first? Mine usually come around 42 weeks and 4/5 days. I'll pray for you and your sweet little one. 💙
I'm 37 weeks tomorrow with baby #3! I'm so grateful to have found your videos this pregnancy! I had no idea about dates and red raspberry leaf tea! Your strength and conviction are so inspiring! Thank you for making videos like these! ♡
In the last comment I sent you I explained that I had a miscarriage, and that I haven’t been able to conceive sense. However… I AM PREGNANT!!! I am so happy and over the moon, thank you so much for helping me get through that tough spell while I was waiting to get pregnant. Thank you!!
Studentmidwife here ✌🏻 Squatting where your knees are further out than the hip joint opens up the lower part of the pelvis and is a great position if baby is already low and ready to be born. For early Labor when dilation is still going on it’s great to be upright and move around a lot :) Obviously talk to your midwife and if a doctors is involved them too. Best of luck to all the awesome women
41 and 4 days pregnant, watching this video during contractions, hoping my labor is starting. Having a natural home water birth. This was so helpful! Will have to try the comb method. Please pray my body spontaneously kicks into labor!
Thank you for this video! I sadly miscarried my baby at 6 weeks last week, and I'm praying for my rainbow baby. I had been working with a midwife since we were planning a home birth, and I am grateful to have had her give me expertise through this time
I’m due oct 2,2021 with my 3rd so I have about 5 weeks to go at this point. Im really wanting to go without an epidural or any pain relief with this baby and a little nervous about it! Everyone please pray I’ll have the courage and strength to do it!:) Sarah, you are a huge encouragement to us moms. Thanks for all you do♥️
Good morning Sarah! First, I’d like to say thank you for such an uplifting and spiritually motivating channel. Seeing God work through you in your videos allows me to feel so empowered. My husband and I are on our 2 round of IUI and would love your prayers. I must say I cried like a baby when it didn’t work the first time, but quickly reassured myself that God is in control and all good things work together for those who are called according to his purpose. Continue to let your light shine bright! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
We’re currently trying to conceive after a loss 💔 while it’s been hard, watching your videos on childbirth have made me so excited and hopeful for what is to come. Thank you for always being vulnerable and sharing your experiences!
First time mama 36 weeks pregnant and definitely trying the combs when labor comes ! Also praying is helping to keep me calm prior to labor & these videos. ☺️
I’m due in November with my third. My second labor was extremely difficult, so I am very thankful for all the tips (and prayer if you’re offering!). I’ve been nervous to go through that again, but am praying God’s presence will go before me and strengthen me through it.
I learned about the comb trick in a labor class and forgot to pack them in both hospital bags 🤦♀️ but after having my second baby I started having gallbladder issues, and I would use the comb during my attacks and it was SO helpful! It tricks your brain into focus on that instead of the pain.
I’m so thankful for you Sarah! Thanks again for sharing. And thanks to Kieran too! I’m 34 weeks pregnant with my third son. I love getting your advice and perspective!
I can definitely say the comb method helps so so much! I just had my LO 4 weeks ago and I gave birth to her at a birthing center and would love to try a home water birth for my next pregnancy’s. I saw the comb method in a few youtubers videos and thought I would try it. It helped tremendously. Like you mentioned it helps being able to physically control something while contractions are happening. I also liked the distraction the noise of the comb when I just needed something to tune into rather than my contractions. I had a semi pain free birth with this method and a few others! Your videos helped me all throughout my pregnancy and I loved being so close in pregnancy with you, felt like we were sharing moments. Your suggestions were beyond helpful and I followed many of your ways and it helped beyond words for my birth experience! Thank you for sharing❤️
Loved Kieran's captions! Thanks for all your content about pregnancy & labour, it's inspiring! I'm almost 35 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I am really looking forward to labour and hoping to give birth naturally even though I cannot give birth at home (difficult thing in France)! Love to you and your family!
I am so glad you posted this video! I used combs and Popsicles to get thru the final stage before my water broke and it helped so much! (The baby was born 7 minutes later) This was my fifth natural delivery and it helped take the edge off for sure. Thank you!
I've always wanted to be a mom more than anything. My husband and I have been trying for a while now. Trying to trust God and His timing. I've enjoyed watching your videos while I wait... I feel like I've learned a lot that has helped me mentally prepare!
God has a plan for you. A good friend of mine and her partner had been trying for a couple of years and then stopped trying due to her starting a new and very stressful job (where I met her). About five months into this job, I make her do a pregnancy test because I had a feeling. Turns out she was pregnant! She wasn‘t as happy as I thought she would be, saying "But why now? The timing isn‘t right" And I said "Because this job is killing you. God had a plan and he wants you to take care of yourself and your baby. You‘re ready now."
15 weeks with my second and found your channel when I was pregnant with my first. You're such an inspiration, thank you! I'm off to buy some combs to put in my hospital bag...:)
I love this community! We where trying for long time, so I couldn't watched yours videos this year - As you said right after announcement - it was too hard for me. I was just checking from time to time if you're ok, and praying. But I'm 7 weeks now and so happy and grateful to the Lord for it! Happy to be here with you again, catching up, praying and learning
I’m pregnant with my first and have been watching your videos for over a year! I plan to use all of your tips and tricks for a natural unmedicated birth! 💛
Gave birth 08\08 and i ask the nurse if they had a comb. They loooked at me weird lol. I told them i saw this girl give birth and used a comb. Let me tell you it work. Thank you for showing us.
Going to have baby #3 in January. I had IV meds with #1 and no meds with #2, and I'd LOVE to do no meds with #3 as well. Having a baby without meds even while in a hospital with the drs, is such a freeing feeling, like I can do anything! And the comb method is something I'm 100% going to try. I had a really firm stress ball with my first and I do remember that feeling of focusing on something other than the contractions. That's a great way of putting it. Thank you so much for Godly, knowledgeable and encouraging videos!!!
I am having my first baby and first birth in November and following your channel has given me a lot of knowledge and at the same time relief. Thank you.🤍
I'm 21 weeks pregnant with twins (girls). We discovered the second child during the 11th week and the doctors couldn't see if they are from 1 egg or 2. So we wanted to know if we we're getting boys or girls or both, to look if there were 2 eggs fertilized. Since we're getting 2 girls we still have to wait until labor to know this for sure. Still we're excited, even though there are more risks for this pregnancy. We are so blessed with all the people around us, everyone is so supportive to us. I'm due in january, but the girls will propably be born in december. So I watch these videos to learn more about labor, to get more information. I'm so glad you got pregnant right before me for this priceless information. Thank you so much.
I love Keeran’s commentary on the screen as you are talking! 😆 I’m about to be due with my 4th as well. I’ve done the epidural with my last 3, but I’m actually going for a natural non hospital birth this time. Thanks for all the tips and tricks.
When watching your laboring video I immediately thought of the combs as an example of the gait control theory in pain management. I’m planning to do my next delivery at a midwife center, and definitely will be doing the combs!
Asking for prayers as I’m entering my seventh month of TTC our first (approx. 10 DPO). I’m really hoping for a summer baby so I can start student teaching “on schedule”, but God is in control, and he has given me peace about this that I have never felt facing similar uncertainties. This video was so helpful! Sarah, I love listening to you.
I am due on the 30th of September with my first Baby. ♥️ I just wanted to thank you, you give me so much security and take away some of the fear. ♥️ I want to try giving birth all natural and I will definitely try the combs. (Already packed them in my hospital bag 🤗)
The whole “do you not like doctors” annoys me. I’ll go to a doctor if I’m sick... pregnancy isn’t a sickness and that’s what the modern medical system treats it as and I can’t stand it. That’s why I have homebirths.
Yep. People who say stuff like this are uneducated on birth. They don’t realize that doctors donot understand physiological birth and they love to intervene medically. So if you want a low intervention birth, you want to stay way!
Amen!!! A pregnant women DOES NOT have to birth in a hospital! She is not sick and as long as mom and baby are healthy a home birth/ birth center birth is safer for mom and baby!!
My first pregnancy was great but I tore 3rd degree during birth and lost over a litre of blood. I was so grateful to be at a hospital at that moment - I suppose the point is you just never know what can happen!
Having my first very soon and couldn't get myself to watch your labor video because I wasn't sure if it would encourage or scare me seeing what could happen but this is exactly the video I needed! Thank you Sarah! You're videos have always made me feel so capable of childbirth.
I’m 20 weeks pregnant first baby. The closer I get my due date in little more anxious since, I’m giving birth without a partner. Sarah’s have helped getting prepared mentally physical and spiritual.
I am 38w 2d as of today and we are planning our first home birth! I'm excited, but nervous for sure! But watching your home births (I actually found you because of your first home birth video) has been so encouraging and uplifting!
I found out im pregnant last week and I'm so exhausted all the time but so excited for my first baby and I'm slowly going through all of your pregnancy videos!
Prenatal chiropractor?! Combs?! Omg where was this goldmine of an info dump when I was having my first! I may actually get through a second one with this! Thank you Sarah!!
Honestly Sarah, you are such a reliever for my pregnancy anxiety! No babies in the near future for us but when we feel ready i'll be watching even more just to remind myself that it's a God given gift to bear children 💙 (came here for your minimalist content years ago as a single college student & have loved everything youve put out since! now im post grad & married & it seems like i was meant to discover your content)
Wow very informative as usual, thank you so much for sharing. I am due my second after a very traumatic first birth and praying for an easy and natural positive birth experience and ofcourse healthy child 🙏
I was due the same day as you and had my baby 3 days before you had Molly! I’ve watched you for years and I was so excited that we were due the same time! We also had a surprise gender and we had a little boy 😊 words of encouragement through labor helped me so much and I was able to birth my baby without pain meds. I reminded myself that this is how God intended labor to be, the pain is purposeful and we are built to birth!
I have always been terrified about being pregnant and believed I would only want to adopt, but that’s changed and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost a year now. It’s very stressful and depressing seeing everyone else with beautiful children and seeing that nothings working for us. But I know it can take longer for some people, and I love watching your videos seeing the joy from your kids and the education I can gain from your birthing videos, thank you!
Lol 😂 the captions are hilarious! I 100% agree with the combs!! I just had my 3rd baby 2 weeks ago and brought combs with me. My first 2, I had epidurals and this time I was able to go completely unmedicated 😁
Thank you lady for all the great tips my husband and I are expecting our 3rd in December. We are also having a home birth for the first time. Relying on God getting our strength from him thank you for sharing!
I seldom give comments here bc of differences on biblical interpretations. Anyway, on pain, she has 6-7 lb bables. I'm a small person (Sarah small) and I had three 10-11 lb babies. It's a different game. So, for those women having huge babies PLEASE understand that asking for the epidural is just fine. No shame in that game. On that fine point, I think Sarah would agree.
I have 10 lbs babies and this was fifth natural delivery...I found her video so helpful and encouraging! It's ok to say no to the epidural too...anyone doubting in labor, you got this!
@@joshandkrystalwhitehead And your name is Josh? Anyhoo, I get a little anxious when the expectation is for women to be in excruciating pain for hours. To each their own, but it's simply not necessary.
mmh...I had a C-section and then a natural no epidural labor with 7.5 lb baby and then another C-section with a 9lb 7oz baby and then a non medicated vaginal birth with an almost 8lber and that was my longest most intense labor and I had my third C-section with a 9lb 5oz boy. Women have been giving birth without an epidural for longer than they haven't, large or not. I'm not sure why you feel the need to comment and say it's no shame. Of course it's no shame. But it can have other consequences and you get rid of the pain and invite other harmful things into your body and your babies and may end up in a bad situation. I think women should be informed of such things before making that decision. Every action has consequences and sometimes they are negligible and sometimes they are not. I'm scared of shots and dread them but I was fine in labor. Yes it is intense and it is scary but any woman can do it and it's not about pain thresholds and doulas. You just have to have determination. I'm scared of needs and having an epidural is worst than having the labor on its own. Having it this third time around I am terrified of having to have one again if God blesses us with more children and directs me to have another C-section instead of vaginally.
@@ASmith-jn7kf What? If you disagree with epidurals, own it. Personally, I find this Millennial obsession with making women experience excruciating pain often leans into mother-blaming and misogyny. See, I said it. But, hey, if you think I don't have "determination" (holy judgy!), gf, you don't know me.
Loved this video! Found it so helpful! My husband and I are trying for our first and it gets a little discouraging when it doesn't happen every month. All of your content is so beautiful and helping us stay positive! Thank you so much!
37 weeks with my first baby! Planning on giving birth in a birth center outside a hospital with my hubby, doula, and midwife. Would love some prayers and uplifting vibes. I will definitely be using the combs, all the squats, and breathing 💕
I just moved into a new house and I am feeling a bit more prepared for my labour (Still a long way to go). Watching your videos again and again really helps me to set my mind to mentally prepare for this pregnancy journey and hopefully labour as well. I also love that you are so close with God. We might have different faith but the concept is the same..the closer we are to go, the better it will be. I'm hoping for this labour, I'll have more positive thoughts.. aameen...
Hi Sarah, I'm having a baby I'm October after having 3 miscarriages last year. I am SO excited and grateful. I have a prayer army going 💪🏻 and would really appreciate it if you may spare a thought for me in yours. I've been watching your videos since I first decided I wanted to get pregnant a few years ago and I am planning on going for an unmedicated birth. Watching you go through labour gives me strength. 🙏🏻❤
I’m 19 a wife and pregnant with my first baby definitely breaking society norms these days but I love your videos and values!! You are the Christian women I strive to be!! Your birth videos have been helping me so much I’m constantly put down by others because I’m very young and there’s a stereotype around young moms not being knowledgeable and having no values but your videos make me feel secure .❤️❤️❤️❤️
No first-time mom "knows" what she‘s doing. But the motherly instinct is huge, if you listen to your body. Disclaimer: every woman and every pregnancy is different and I’m sharing an observation here. In my experience as a nurse, usually the older the first time moms, the more overwhelmed they are, especially if they‘re closer to menopause (think 45 years old after undergoing IVF). I‘ve had countless patients like that, becoming incredibly tense and stressed out over the smallest things and not wanting to leave the hospital. (Again, younger moms can be stressed out and overwhelmed too - it‘s just a pattern I‘ve seen through years of C-sections and post-partum care) Don‘t let others rain on your parade, this should be a beautiful time in your life! God loves you and I‘m praying for you and your baby‘s health and happiness ♥️
Whatever you do get a doula sweetie they are so worth the money!! My husband even advocates for one now since he saw how helpful they are to the mom the be! The Lord bless you in your new beautiful experience. I am blessed with 4 babies and had a doula for 3 but wished I had one for my first also!!
I can't thank you enough for making these videos.. I love your channel and I understand you will move on fron this platform for many reasons so I wanted to say thank you and wish you the best future with the precious family you have. Bless you hun 💕
Your videos are so so encouraging and helpful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us and your experiences and what has helped you throughout your pregnancy and births. Thank you for taking the time to sit down and chat with us. I am 32w today with a baby girl. I am excited yet nervous because I am a very petite girl but I am trusting God to provide for me exactly what I need. I believe this is his will for me and I am reminding myself daily that he has made me strong and able to do this. Would love prayers as well though
That thumbnail! 😳😆 Congrats on baby Molly! Calvin has three sisters, lol! Love to see people having large families again! Shout out to all the mums out there, going through pregnancy, labor and taking care of the babes is 💪💪 Most important job of all.
I’m not sure if you see these comments, but I just wanted to say that I love watching your videos! I learn so much, I’m only 14 weeks but I’ve been doing squats like crazy, this is my first and my biggest fear is tearing. Doctors scare me because they’re so quick to give medicine so I’m doing an unmedicated home birth. I love the advice you give, and you honestly make me so excited for this new chapter in my life😌🥰 also, nothing against doctors just not a fan of the indoctrination in their education. Most don’t agree with my lifestyle so to avoid conflict and for my own calmness I prefer to be in my home.
Loved this video!! Very helpful!😁😊 My husband and I are expecting our first and she is due in November!🥰 As I get closer, the nervousness does increase, but I'm also just so excited and have been reading up and watching videos and going through different classes/webinars/workshops. In asking for prayer, the biggest thing is just that we would continue to set our minds on the Lord and rest in His peace, particularly as labor approaches.❤
You talked about your audience at the beginning of the video and it was so funny to me because I am a 20 year old woman who never plans on having kids biologically, and I love all your videos. I subscribed after the video where you buzzed your hair because I had wanted to buzz mine for years, and this february I actually did it! It is so awesome to follow a Christian youtuber and have that influence on social media, and I really appreciate your videos and will continue watching them, whether I relate to them or not! 🥰❤
I am due in February with our second baby! Hoping for a VBAC...but I keep reminding myself that God is in control! Thank you for the great tips, squatting and combs especially! And thank you Kieran for the amazing captions that made me laugh A LOT!! 🤣
I went through a similar time of wondering and waiting as you are now, so just as others prayed for me I will pray for you also; that God in his wisdom will give you the right baby at the right time. I know you'll be wonderful, caring parents. Love from Michigan♡
This was so informative for me. I just found out I'm expecting baby #2 and am considering a home birth. I had a hospital birth with my first, with a epidural and felt like my experience was not the best, especially when it came to the placenta. Just as soon as they laid my daughter on my chest the doctor reached in me to basically "scrape" out the placenta. It resulted in me having a retainined placenta and having to have surgery the following morning after my daughter's birth to have the remains of it removed. Definitely do not want a repeat. So watching your home births and this video gives me a lot of encouragement for a home birth with this next baby.
Thank you for doing this video! I never heard of the combs before but want to try them. I have had long, painful births with both of my first two kids (though the second was better) and really need the next birth to be easier! It is so hard hearing how it never hurt for you to push, and that you never felt like you couldnt take it anymore...I'm so happy for you but I have experienced alot of both of those things. Please pray for me.
38 weeks tomorrow, this is baby #3 and my first homebirth and first pregnancy I've been regularly seeing a chiro. I 100% agree seeing a chiro even just for pregnancy pain relief is sooo worth it!! My 2 previous pregnancies I could hardly walk from 32 weeks on and this one has been so much easier.
I am a first time mom and didn’t know what to expect labor to be like. I used a comb in my labor it was one of my most valuable tools. I labored for 40 hours and did not let it go the whole time. My mother told me to keep it. I will probably put it in my sons baby book.
Hi Sarah (and Keiran)! It's been awesome watching your videos, especially since my husband and I are expecting our first (24 weeks today!) I get a lot out of what you share and love when you said that hearing of God's goodness helps through labor- amen, praise Jesus! Would love your prayers for our natural birth with a midwife in the hospital, and God's grace on our family as we grow and learn! Peace.
Currently 40+1 weeks pregnant with our second daughter. The Lord carried me with my first labor and I'm trusting that he will carry me again with this labor. I will try the comb trick this time, thanks for the tip.
The comb method initiates the Gate control theory in the nervous system… it is the same theory behind using rubbing when your stung by a bug or scratched…. It gives the nervous system a different stimulus than the pain, which runs through different pathways, which in effect floods the nervous system and relieves the pain… it is very effective and highly underrated!
Not labour, but as a child I had a big accident and really cut open my leg badly.
Before going to the hospital I was slapping my other leg and it really helped a lot to reduce the pain! I'll be slapping my leg a lot when I go through birth 😆
😲 Awesome!
This has nothing to do with labor and delivery, but Sarah is so gorgeous! Can’t unsee that hair!
I love Kieran's captions and your interactions through them.
Right?! It’s fun hearing what he has to say through the captions☺️
I just wish they were on screen a bit longer
@@sidneyrose6 same
The captions are great, just keep it little longer please!
yes the same way too short even in pausing itis difficult to read, it is frustrating ;-)
I love that you talk about praying through labor. We don't deserve this beautiful life of motherhood!!
Just had my third baby a few days ago... Can confirm the comb is magic! Thank you, Sarah. I never would have done that without your videos 🥰
Same status ❤
Hope all is well with you! I miscarried my first pregnancy as well. Not something I would wish on my first enemy. Now I have a healthy preschooler and I’m 6 months pregnant with another! Hope you’re blessed soon with a healthy pregnancy, if you haven’t been already!
I watch a lot of dog grooming channels and I thought the title was "how using a comb and squatting saved my labrador"
I am intrigued either way.
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is actually hilarious
This is the best 😂😂😂😂
Thank you for the giggle this morning, I really needed it 💕
😂
Captions in between felt like Kieran commenting and entertaining us in between!
And I'm here for it!! ❤️❤️
I think Kieran's captions are hysterical! I would leave them on for a split second longer because I found myself trying to pause and rewind in order to read them haha
Same!! 😂😂
me too. I kept pausiing lol
Agreed
Same
I had to pause too.
I love how you said your motivation comes from ppl saying God is good and he is giving you strength. ❤️❤️🙏

Praying for you 🙏
Also 2 days past due with baby boy! Praying for you :)
You got this Mama! 💪🏻
I’m nearly 41 weeks ..🥴😬😳🙏🙏
I'm 37 weeks tomorrow with baby #3! I'm so grateful to have found your videos this pregnancy! I had no idea about dates and red raspberry leaf tea! Your strength and conviction are so inspiring! Thank you for making videos like these! ♡
In the last comment I sent you I explained that I had a miscarriage, and that I haven’t been able to conceive sense. However… I AM PREGNANT!!! I am so happy and over the moon, thank you so much for helping me get through that tough spell while I was waiting to get pregnant. Thank you!!
Studentmidwife here ✌🏻
Squatting where your knees are further out than the hip joint opens up the lower part of the pelvis and is a great position if baby is already low and ready to be born.
How did it go?
Thank you for this video! I sadly miscarried my baby at 6 weeks last week, and I'm praying for my rainbow baby. I had been working with a midwife since we were planning a home birth, and I am grateful to have had her give me expertise through this time
I love how you two are having a conversation through captions lol
I'll pray for you ;*
Sending love 💕
First time mama 36 weeks pregnant and definitely trying the combs when labor comes ! Also praying is helping to keep me calm prior to labor & these videos. ☺️
I’m gonna write on my combs “God made me strong”
8 more weeks! 💪🏽🙏🏽😳😬
Yay, congratulations!!!
Yay! 7 more weeks for me.
@@sitcomchristian6886 thank you!
@@unknowninvisible2519 congratulations 🎉
What a beautiful idea!
Kieran's editing is very entertaining. Thanks for the laughs - they were much needed. 😊
Thank you for sharing❤️
what are your other methods? 34 weeks along and trying to plan for the big day!:)
Not even pregnant, but I love all your videos like this! 🥰
Just a tip: slow down the captions, they're on for a split second and hard to read the entire caption without pausing the video
I’m pregnant with my first and have been watching your videos for over a year! I plan to use all of your tips and tricks for a natural unmedicated birth! 💛
I'm having baby in 4 weeks or less and I needed this! Excited to try the combs this time
I gave birth to my second baby last saturday and used the combs this time and it was SUCH a game changer 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I gave birth 2 and a half weeks ago and loved using the combs!!! It really does help distract your mind from some of the pain
Yay!! I’m due September 27 with baby #3 and I will plan to have a couple combs in my labor bag, too! 🤍
Hope it all went well!!!! God Bless!!!!
Thank you.🤍
35 wks pregnant, I really hope to use the combs method! Thank you for all your words of wisdom. Pray over me and my baby please 🙏🏼
I’m about to be due with my 4th as well.
I just wanted to thank you, you give me so much security and take away some of the fear. ♥️
I want to try giving birth all natural and I will definitely try the combs.
Period !
😁 I won't go to a doctor unless I'm dying or close to
My first pregnancy was great but I tore 3rd degree during birth and lost over a litre of blood.
I'm 20 weeks as well, without a partner!! We've GOT THIS SISTA!!
@@renaijoy5205 Thanks for the encouragement. Where you from if you don’t mind me asking?
I'm 26 weeks pregnant and your videos are so helpful!!!
Oh gosh I know! I am 8wks pregnant and man I have no energy! And no appetite but if I dont eat I get nauseous. Fun times lol 😂
Prenatal chiropractor?! Combs?! Omg where was this goldmine of an info dump when I was having my first! I may actually get through a second one with this! Thank you Sarah!!
Sarah: thank you for combs, kindness and kiddos. Kieran: thank you for captions 😂
Thank you for making labor less scary, you are an inspiration.
I used to self harm loke 10 years ago, and using a comb like this was a technique I used to help stop when those urges came on
Thank you for sharing this , I work with teens that self harm and this is a great alternative coping!
@@joshandkrystalwhitehead thats interesting, a male who gave birth :) I guess posted from your housbands profile?;)
mmh...I had a C-section and then a natural no epidural labor with 7.5 lb baby and then another C-section with a 9lb 7oz baby and then a non medicated vaginal birth with an almost 8lber and that was my longest most intense labor and I had my third C-section with a 9lb 5oz boy.
I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant so thank you for the tips! ❤️ I'm definitely taking a comb to the hospital with me!
Yes! Kids are napping grabbing a snack and about to watch one of the best youtubers ever 🙋🏼♀️ excited to learn about the comb for my next homebirth
I'm hoping for this labour, I'll have more positive thoughts.. aameen...
I'm 9. Week pregnant today and the idea of labour if still far away. God made every woman strong.. we are able to do it. Thanks for the infos Sarah:)
I’m almost 35 weeks with my first and this video was so helpful!
(Again, younger moms can be stressed out and overwhelmed too - it‘s just a pattern I‘ve seen through years of C-sections and post-partum care)
Don‘t let others rain on your parade, this should be a beautiful time in your life! God loves you and I‘m praying for you and your baby‘s health and happiness ♥️
You will do amazing! You will be a great mom and wife.
The captions make your videos so much better. I love your videos regardless, but the commentary definitely brings out additional smiles :)
That thumbnail! 😳😆
Congrats on baby Molly!
38 weeks with baby #3, so I'm totally here for this! Excited for a second home birth!
Your kiddos are beautiful! Congratulations. You’re an inspiration to potential mamas everywhere!!
Having my third baby in just a couple months excited to try the combs for my first home birth!
Kieran's captions are the best... please continue! 😄
I am due in February with our second baby! Hoping for a VBAC...but I keep reminding myself that God is in control! Thank you for the great tips, squatting and combs especially!
And thank you Kieran for the amazing captions that made me laugh A LOT!! 🤣
Currently on year three of trying to get pregnant.. I hope that when God blesses us with a child we can be half the parents you and Kieran are.. ♡
I went through a similar time of wondering and waiting as you are now, so just as others prayed for me I will pray for you also; that God in his wisdom will give you the right baby at the right time. I know you'll be wonderful, caring parents. Love from Michigan♡
Love how the kids’ boxes were each a different colour!!
Loved the captions Kieran lol. You’re such a powerhouse Sarah!
I’m not even having more babies but I’m watching because Sarah is so adorable !!!!
I am not currently pregnant and not even planning on it, but I love all your mama and pregnancy videos! Molly is sooo cute!
You’re so beautiful Sarah! You’re such a natural beauty.
Absolutely, I needed the chiro during my 2nd pregnancy!
I am a first time mom and didn’t know what to expect labor to be like. I used a comb in my labor it was one of my most valuable tools. I labored for 40 hours and did not let it go the whole time. My mother told me to keep it. I will probably put it in my sons baby book.
Kieran’s captions are hilarious! This was really helpful Sarah 🥰 22 weeks pregnant and I’ll definitely be packing some combs in my hospital bag ☺️
I truly wish you the best for your labor! 💗🪐
Peace.
Thank you for letting us know how you made it through labor. It makes me feel more courageous about having my first. :)
Currently 40+1 weeks pregnant with our second daughter. The Lord carried me with my first labor and I'm trusting that he will carry me again with this labor.
I will try the comb trick this time, thanks for the tip.
