I was 11 years old when V came out. One of my favorite television shows back then. I never missed an episode, if I remember correctly it aired every Friday at 7PM CST. It started in the month of May in 1983. Marc Singers character in this show/series was my idle growing up.

I was 5-6 years old when this was telecast here in Sri Lanka in mid 1980s ('85-'86 or so If I'm not mistaken). I still do remember some of these things in "V" even after almost 40 years though I can't recall the whole plot, now at the age of 43 ! (After all, I was only a kid when I watched it, didn't get any chance to see it since then.). Time flies & things change, but at least some of the memories do stay forever ....
Mi parents watched this as kids. They never got to see the end. The signal in the whole town got cut. It’s ironic because in Spanish the V sounds as “ve” which means watch, so it was “ watch the final battle” but it was exactly the final battle of the whole series that they couldn’t watch 😂
I hope that more people will watch this series again if they can find it, together with the Matrix, this is a great documentary of how we have been controlled, so glad that everything is coming out now. The conspiracy is still ongoing.

Personally, I gotta say that Kenneth Johnson still is a great creative visionary on both "The Incredible Hulk" TV series and the two "V" mini-series and regular TV series from 1983 to 1984, and I think, 1985 as well. In regarding the "V" cast members, I wondered what happened to them in the decades since. Have some of them been still involved in show business or had already either retired or moved on? After all, I have been impressed with their performances along with the excellent writing by a number of people led by Johnson, too.

I was 5-6 years old when this was telecast here in Sri Lanka in mid 1980s ('85-'86 or so If I'm not mistaken). I still do remember some of these things in "V" even after almost 40 years though I can't recall the whole plot, now at the age of 43 ! (After all, I was only a kid when I watched it, didn't get any chance to see it since then.). Time flies & things change, but at least some of the memories do stay forever ....
Mi parents watched this as kids. They never got to see the end. The signal in the whole town got cut. It’s ironic because in Spanish the V sounds as “ve” which means watch, so it was “ watch the final battle” but it was exactly the final battle of the whole series that they couldn’t watch 😂

In Italy was 1984 when the series was broadcast.I was waiting for Thursday, when the episode aired, as were Christmas.
Personally, I gotta say that Kenneth Johnson still is a great creative visionary on both "The Incredible Hulk" TV series and the two "V" mini-series and regular TV series from 1983 to 1984, and I think, 1985 as well. In regarding the "V" cast members, I wondered what happened to them in the decades since. Have some of them been still involved in show business or had already either retired or moved on? After all, I have been impressed with their performances along with the excellent writing by a number of people led by Johnson, too.
