Very hard to overcome. It's like trying to teach yourself to not walk by swinging your hands in opposite directions from your feet. Not impossible. It takes a lot of work. Just like saying 'brilliant', Are you taking a piss', 'Let's give it a go', 'lovely', 'You look smart' or Australian 'she's fit', 'barbie' I would never want someone to change their natural speech patterns. It's what makes them them, and it's music to my ears.
