Unless those arrested are held without bail (as they are a clear and present danger to public safety and property and indications are that they are repeat offenders) and prosecuted to the full extent of the law and jailed as found appropriate in a jury trial, then none of this matters.

First, stop using the word "peaceful protestors" I haven't seen any "peaceful protest", only violent non-peaceful protest. If you want to solve the problem, you must first admit that you have a problem.
No such thing as a violent protester. Once a protester becomes violent, that person is no longer a protestor.
