This was the greatest demo disc ever and greatest demo ever. It fit SO much into it and felt so expansive and personal yet closed in and cozy. Always found new missions I can complete and new secrets that they allowed in the demo. What an amazing time to be a child.
Had this on the demo cd vol 7 that came with my ps1. This demo was LONG, I got over 2 hours in a few times and never finished it, I'm sure if I knew wtf to do it be way faster, but considering nba jam was a 1 min demo, all star game finals 1:00 to play, and einhander was 1 level. Gex 2 was 1 level, tekken had 2 fighters and you'd play 1 match. They left all sidequests n shit in so this demo can quickly overwhelm you.

Awesome full playthrough of the Tomba demo. I have a suggestion for a demo. I had Twisted Metal 4 on my mind, if you want to try it. Anyway, keep up the excellent work!
@@KopperNeoman yes, emulators support widescreen. Unfortunately it works very bad in the first Tomba - too many 2d assets (including Tomba and enemies) and polygons disappear on the screen borders. Tomba 2 looks much better in widescreen. Anyway this video is just stretched.

I don't even know how I managed to finish this DEMO as a kid who couldn't read and understand English. This DEMO was fantastic for its time.

Why specifying "16:9" in the name? PS1 never had widescreen support, It's just a stretched picture (wrong aspect ratio).
It could also be anamorphic patched. The 2D assets would likely be stretched, but it would still work, especially in an emulator.
