@@martin2466 yeah that’s the problem no pride in peoples work, we had couple gangs on my last site of foreigners about 2 of them was skilled bricklayers and the other 10 just copying, looked like a load of shit couldn’t even joint up the preform archers properly, all down to the site team being greedy to keep the extra dough though, don’t want to pay top dollar for top bricklayers

i went uni and my results really suffered because of how much work i was doing to try and pay for the whole bloody thing. i heavily regret that now. make the degree the priority, money comes later
Grab a rose mate proper good trowel, started off with a marshalltown and you can feel the difference. The rose is very light and cuts nicely, look on speedcrete which is where I got mine from👍🏻
