I'm new to the channel. My name is Dre. Great sounding drums. I also play drums and horns. I'm Looking forward to hearing the rest of the track. Be blessed. Thanks for sharing. Liked and subscribed.
Hi Small Axe. I wanted to thank you for your excellent videos. You've really inspired me to get back to writing and recording again. I'm looking forward to seeing more and hopefully chatting sometime! Gavin
Hallo Small Axe? We really appreciate your videos because they teach us a lot. But some of us are very new to producing reggae beats. We don't even know how you play the reggae chords on the piano. Can you please do a video to show us what keys to press on the piano? Especially the basic reggae chords?
My respect and appreciation. It would he too time consuming to go into that to be honest. That is a total different aspect Nd not based on the topic of producing. Learning to play is a whole different platform and it would be better to follow some other channels that teaches you how ro play. They are all 9ver TH-cam and very helpful. You must lesrn to play or have basic idea of music to produce so learning to play is essential. If you have any particular questions based on what I am playing in the videos I would be happy to answer them however. Bless up.
Bro,seriously if you cant decipher what notes are hitting you need to do some serious work on yourself, not even tutorial but theory basics. Just play some reggae songs and try to find appropriate notes,it aint that hard to find em. But to make it sound good you will need experience which can only come with practice,so take time and practice :)
Hi Small Axe !!! I write songs. I'm trying to create a band, but it's very difficult with the musicians, we didn't manage to do much live. I wanted to ask if you do custom backing tracks??? And how much does your service cost for one song ??
Those horns doesn’t sound realistic.. check Blit Blot channel here on TH-cam.. mad horns 🎺 🎷 Horns are like vocals... they express themselves with inflections in the embochure and the air, so is too hard to produce artificially

Like the riddim .. Which plugins you use for the guitars and organs ?
Thanks. I used Jamchop sample for 🎸 and vintage organ with my own preset I made. All are available here at tropicalsamples.com

That's right. You can never get horns to sound as realistic as it should but they do work artificially though.
I only use that for demo the arrangement.. after that I record the real ones
