The Focal Grande Utopia EM EVO are 6'x7" and weight over 480 lb. each! The pair at House of Stereo has a Ziricote wood finish, which is made by veneering each speaker with a single piece of wood from the Ziricote tree, native to southern Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. These are for Sure Pretty and have a Superior Quality Crossover adjusting Built in , Very Nice! THEY ARE MONSTEROUSLY COOL!

Also never said they were Bad Speakers , but being consistently Told " your system can't compare" because of the Money Factor gets Old, also if you or anyone else want to Have Equalization in a system than that is AWESOME, these Speakers are AWESOME too. I guess my reaction was the product of "CERTAIN" Audiophiles that consistently put Down The People that Can't afford a 300 to 500k System that there is no way my ( mine and 90% of the HiFi ) enthusiasts who Love Awesome sound don't know what they are , doing, Talking about and can't possibly know what Great Sound is. The 3800's are a good speaker. We'd be happy to show you around the shop to compare notes. What is nice about Focal is that the sonic character remains the same all the way down the line. Ultimately, the approach and execution in design language (drivers and cabinets) helps to create a brands sonic signature, and the lessons learned from the Utopia line trickle down all the way to Vestia and Theva. Another example of an excellent manufacturer creating specific cabinet and driver design across a product suite is Eggleston Works. Their angular approach to the cabinet makes them instantly recognizable and creates a sense of space and realism that I attribute to all Eggleston models. Come visit!

How many drivers you need - Yes!
Sure looks like a Stella Utopia EM EVO rather than a Grande Utopia EM EVO, which has 5 drivers, is taller and weight well over 500 lbs.

There are many ways. We love the opportunity to take things on consignment, but of course it varies depending on the manufacturer and the situation. We’ve made a significant capital investment in building a showroom to serve the North Florida region, and putting a few world class stereo systems together to boot! Stop in if you are nearby. We’ll be having a few opening events that we’ll advertise soon.

Hope for you your room is acoustically treated! Otherwise you wont hear your 200k. A 15k Speaker would probably sound better in a well treated room

Nice pal. I have a pair,too. Mine I wired up with transparent gen 6 magnum opus cablings, especially, two pair of Magnum Opus. And Boulder 3000 aeries preamplifier 3010 and 3050.
In a recent conversation we had with Jeff (Boulder,) he described the Grande Utopia's as one of the best speakers in the world. We know Boulder voicing is done with the Grande Utopia's, so there a big vote of confidence!

Are the Grand Utopia's as bright as the lower priced Focal speakers?
Way too small for $280,000 per pair. At least other $250,000 speakers are bigger than these.
But they don't sound anywhere as good as the Focal!!!

They sound bright and ear fatigue at the show. Not for me.
We'd like to invite you down then. In my experience, I have found that poor performance at a show is not indicative of poor performance everywhere. Too many unknown factors, with at most two days of prep time ahead of a show can lead to unexpected results, even from setup experts more skilled than we.
Focal is one of the few speakers that doesn't roll off the tweeter. So what you hear sounds unnatural compared to most other manufacturers. You can sit off axis from the tweeters which will make them less harsh. Personally I love them.
