There is no need to mute copyrighten music. TH-cam doesn't pay enough for these videos, so doing that to make the video monetized is almost pointless. A video has to have hundreds of thousands of views to make any money worth worrying about, and car show videos aren't that popular. Make money off of other content ideas. Muting makes viewers turn the channel. You'd rather give them something free and gain popularity than to mute it for potential profit, just to lose the viewers anyway. Plus, if you aren't going to talk, people are going to feel like they have no host. Which is bad for building a channel. Your personality is what people want more than anything else. They can see car videos with no host all day everyday.
