Many of them they only have a para scope to view through. The way they've been reactivating old armor I doubt any of them have video systems to see were anything is.

Plus have an extra eyes on the battlefield for the tanks (as they had limited vision and hearing inside tanks). Obviously, those concepts went out the window for the Ukrainian operations. The current of use of BMP's isn't helping anyone, the Ukrainian anti-tanks units are well hidden and using remoted drones and long-range anti-tank weapons. They're not giving any warning to the tanks (except when they blow up and burn) and the troops in the BMP's are just collateral damage on the battlefield.
