So glad you and Mrs. Shark are safe. Looks like a lot of work ahead, though. I have a friend in Orlando who is the non-ferrous manager at a scrap yard there. They are getting ready for this one coming up by putting cars and trucks on top of their outdoor scrap piles to try and keep them from blowing away!! 😲 You said your new yard was "gone". Will they be coming back??
I wish your friend luck and hope they come through with minimal damage. That Milton looks like a beast. The yard is planning to reopen. I've told the owner I'm ready to assist whenever he starts putting it back together.
So glad you and your wife are alright and that other than a lot of beautiful trees that are destroyed, you seem ok. I can’t even imagine all those trees down. What a huge job. We lost one 55 year old pine tree a year ago in a monsoon storm and that was more than enough. It crushed the 2 cars across the street. Did you move from Florida because of the hurricanes?
So sad to see all these old beautiful trees down. But such is mother nature. Yes, we moved here to get away from these hurricanes 😂
