I feel like you gotta look a lil bit extra hard to notice when the support makes good plays. The results aren’t usually directly linked to them, even if it’s a result of them
Most of the supports are not well seen in the game, but its one of the most important roles for sure.

a tip one braum to another if u find your team lacking in cc or dmg hale of blades and stride breaker can be useful tools to help peel. the aoe slow and amount of time you have it up to be used is actually super useful. also the self target W for armor is super useful for extra tank stats in combat if there's no place to jump to

this video really shows that support can carry the game even with some pretty bad teammates.
imagine if he just sat his ass in lane with the occasional roam to mid like the usual support. I reckon they lose from how easily his teammates tilt alone.
yes. a lot of people say supports are boosted, because thay look at the nami, janna, lulu players. There are also Braum, Taric, Thresh, etc supports that do the job themselves without relying too much on the adc
Man that was beautiful! I swear Braum has got to be the coolest support in lol and your playstyle is always a treat.
I love Braum. He was my first support that I really dedicated a lot of time to, and this video is a great guide for anyone looking to become good at Braum.

Could you do a breakdown of what a strat like this entails? Like sylas losing top side, then a comparison of gold on both sides etc
This is just a less hectic version of smite teleport sion. You’re forcing the enemy to play to the beat of your drum (even somewhat your own team). We are creating unique situations; sylas ganks bot lvl 2, Lee sim trying to punish with an early tower dive, twitch getting early level 6 due to solo exp, pantheon forced to play passive due to early gank.
@@Tilterella It's funny, I actually started doing this strat about a month ago with Twitch/Amumu support and climbed from p4 to p2 because of it. I would've thought it would be worse in higher elo because of people knowing how to punish it better

Against an enchanter supp, I may start doing this strategy, but if it's an engage support then its best to actually babysit the adc, since things can get really messy if he's left alone, especially if the enemy adc is something like draven. Although you shoudn't really play braum or any warden for that matter as a support when playing against enchanters, since they'll just poke the shit out of you. This strategy however is a really interesting alternative to beat this match up
I swear I had the same idea and was flammed as much as you, just not with braum, and the enemy toplane kept nadmouthing me for ruining his early game, idk about my teamates but I call that worth

jesus thank you so much for mentioning warding for objectives at 8:44 . no support ive played with has done it ever, especially with my friends. but when i do this as sup it gives so much information turning fights we wouldve lost

7:17 when the sylas wants to ff after 1 bad fight while still being up kills. that angers me so much. So many times you get these teammates and later on if it doesnt work out cuz they arent really trying they see it as justification.
If you were for example in my low elo games as an enemy support braum I would have no clue how to deal with your insane map pressure, thank you for telling me your secrets.

I just realised I might have actually enjoyed watching LCS if you were commentating it. The way you can break down every millimetre play is always impressive.
Doesn't work like that. Pro games are live commentary, by individuals not playing the match they are commentating, while also having to focus on the plays of all 10 members. This was an edited commentary of a game he himself played previously, commentating mostly on just his own plays.

I mastered duo top long ago. The trick is - I think - zoning enemy out of exp and ofc killing him often, and ofc roaming. Leblanc support us great for that.

Braum was my first Mastery 7. Literally the best support in the game.
i think best support in the game is thresh. tanky af, a lot of underrated ad damage and can scale armor to the infinity

Team constantly pinging you, your team telling you what to do, and you get no credit. This is why the game is shit, but I appreciate you playing it still.

Hey. Some weird tech I don't know if you knew. But if you shield towards a tower, it does lower tower shot damage. Might help with your top dives!
R u sure I think I’ve tested that. Def doesn’t block it
@Tilterella I tested it a couple years back. It doesnt block it completely but it does lower the damage like it does subsequent projectiles. There is no animation or noise saying it so it is hard to notice, but the damage is lower.
Or at least was unless they changed it for some reason.
UPDATE. I guess they changed it at one point. It's not even in the patch history. I blame riot spaghetti.

Great videos always, I’m a bit late to this one but how do i find teammates with braincells? Like I don’t lvl 1 cheese but my adc will see naut hid in mid bush and then get hooked 10 seconds later… what am i suppose to do about that?

You should be putting 3 points in q and then max E->W, not rlly worth maxing q anyways since it won't matter as much with the way you are playing, while extra durability and tankyness plus lower cds on E and W will be big

Braum W has short coldown. I am wondering why not using it on yourself in some situations where allies are not that close.

If only more players would adapt to this kind of playstyle. Constantly roaming supports are commonplace in Dota for example, but if you do it in league most of the time you get flamed hard.

Wait why do you sync up the stun to the moment Janna dies? Whats the reasoning for that?
Seems to me. It is in order to keep him stunned at a moment when sylas is not occupied with killing Janna. Therefore allowing Sylas to hit his abilities more easily on Ziggs when he turns his attention that way.
where did you check how high the playrates were for Braum?

Yep, if it’s not gonna help top and hurt bot at the same time, there’s no point. Usually if I see someone running ignite too and my top laner has kill potential it’s a good sign to go top.

As one who watches a lot of support coachings and stuff of the sort, I know a lot about this stuff, and I am kind of a knowledge vacuum for it.
And I mention that because I really want to point out how simple and effective he just explained all that, he didn't use the terms or explanations that some coachings do, he just said what was going on and gave the advices and showed by example a ton of things that anyone can emulate in a simple way. Very well done video

It always kinda bugs me that he leaves his adc and pretends like there's no drawback. It's a NET gain, since the enemy top is more ahead than your boy, but twitch is still a couple waves behind for all of laning
It’s always a net positive. I intentionally want to leave my adc alone when ever I can. Solo exp is worth more than gold
