Obviously Yi allways takes aggro in every Dive, he can reset the tower shot with his Q, that was a really good dive decision by Yi, you both would have survived and camille would have lost alot of minions
@@denistt1but then tilt's health is never utilized to tank which is inefficient. If yi takes aggro he can tank three shots, reset with q, and maybe tank three more with the revive. If tilt takes aggro, he can tank 4 shots, two more with the revive, and even if he dies it's an execute into yi being able to tank 4-5 more
@@bizw when yi uses q it only drops aggro for a small window, and renata would have to do damage during that to take aggro. That is the ideal play if everyone is involved is perfect but it's just unnecessarily hard
absolutely not, tilt plays well in general, but he could've played the renata a lot better... Plus, maybe that's just me but I rather doing her a bit more tanky than that lol
he has better games with renata top, dont think its a real pick but yes its very suefull to have extra gold on a supp for hypercarrys but he literally did nothing this game to win it
He was present in 0 TFs, so no big ults, no W to the hyper carries; stuck to defend the open base, which he can't do alone. In short, terrible game. Hope he plays it more and we get to see a better game
Since Yi was focusing on dodging Camille Dash Stun, I would've done the exact same play as you did but ideally take one less hit so you can go back in with 2nd round of spells, yi resets, and whichever of you is about to die gets the Renata W. edit: Yi was definitely hesitating, if he wanted initial aggro he would've had to run straight into her and eat the stun, which she probably times for right after the first turret shot. The last hit was *just barely* enough to kill you, if it didn't, or you took one less, it would be perf because yi got to dps down camille safely. Couldn't see if Yi used his Q or not while you were running away, but it would've come back soon after anyway from attacking.
I THOUGHT yi wanted aggro because q reset then you hold and can flop it back to him with your revive if needed.. but he was a bit hesitant it felt so it just seemed clunky and forced for no real reason at that point. Any hesitation can lead to drastic mistakes. Edit: I rewatched, it felt hesitant when I first saw, BUT after rewatch it does seem he's trying to path to make sure she can't freely walk out, and still going at her, so maybe no hesitant but just being a bit safer on how he went for the kill.
I used to pick Grasp Renata top when she came out, and she was pretty strong. Her strong base AD made poking with grasp quite effective as an anti-carry.
Renata is in the same state as Rell was before, she is just one adjustment or buff away to being really good/viable. I really hope they make her E shield wider, like lux W. So she can actually buff allies with censer and staff. She and Rell have been my favorite new champions concept and design-wise. Just wanna see her being more easy to fit into comps
I don't get why you would want to build ap, since her kit barely has ap ratios. You needed to come up with something else for the wave clear. All of that gold invested in your ability power is completely wasted, as you mentioned your role is to support your carries and to ult the enemy carry.
I never understood why people thought they have 1v1'd anything while hiding under a turret and using flash. You can argue it's an outplay but realistically, you couldn't kill her without the turret. Not really that impressive. If anything, just cringe. Also, yi 100% should take aggro. He would reset with alpha.
Because people think he's good/op because of cheese strats. If you try to play sion like any other champ (farm in lane, get tanky, team fight) you auto lose agains 75% of top laners. You have to cheese like baus or tilt to have a positive win rate on sion.
I never understood why there were so many people that disliked you cause your double jungle strat very clearly worked if the other jungler was willing to cooperate but this just seems like you're intentionally picking this trash to farm rage engagement 💀
I think the best way would be: -Renata W's Yi. -Yi does E auto and a W auto reset if he doesn't plan on using W later. -Yi dodges the towershot with Q, alternatively tanks or W's to dodge the next shot or slow/cc. -Renata empties all her damage and takes aggro from turret till she is one hit away from death. -Yi kills camille.
Obviously Yi allways takes aggro in every Dive, he can reset the tower shot with his Q, that was a really good dive decision by Yi, you both would have survived and camille would have lost alot of minions
Yeah how the fuck doesn’t everyone know that’s how a Yi gank works?

@@bastodon
Thanks for the knowledge
@@bastodonProbably because nobody plays yi, like the only reason I know about it is that I used to main him
At 3:00 yi wanted to take aggro cause he could reset with q amd then you could tank a bit and w before dropping aggro
3:02 you’re mistake was not w yourself. Yi dives gets the kill and you can take almost unlimited shots
nah i feel like yi starting it and dropping agro with alpha is safer

If you're making an argument for champion use, it's usually best to show the bad or hard games, too.
this game is very lore friendly - Renata being the evil master mind and just not letting the police(camille) do what they want

Karma top is pretty fun aswell, I am really excited to hear your thoughts on double jungle this preseason patch :)
that cannon denial is so good
1:56 that laugh was cute

dude typed "me first" and has an agro dropping mechanic..
For some reason TH-cam set this channel so I got no notifications, I fixed it but that really pisses me off.
This is how I feel about the various thresh top builds I do, but unlike renata he can back it up with tankiness, damage, ms, and cc
You deserve your praises.
Loved watching your 1v1s with Camile. Very funny.
camile just stoping herself in to the tower for no reason is not what I call a 1vs1ning someone

Not sure what you’re on, current Renata has arguably better agency than even current Rell, her W and R already do so much
Although her Q is… awkward
what app is that to track gold lead!
My noodles are never too spicey
I woul love to see what happens if an ulted Rengar gets ulted by a Renata while next to allies. Would he jump? Idk why you didn't try in the end
I have 90% WR out of 19 games on Renata this season just by playing her top with Master Yi jg, fucking broken...

Should have gone zhonya instead of safe guard. It's just that good.
The Praise.
Its coming the thing im waiting for 😭
I actually have an account named Renata tawp ily for making this viable
Gratz on boring Camille so much in lane that she dove you twice with disastrous results for her!
Was that the praise you were looking for?
Life is complete
Should really be obvious that Yi would take aggro for a repeat chally player.

probably would have w myself at that dive.
I love the champion but i feel she needs a buff
This one was a bit of a letdown compared to normal Tiltarella quality output, consistent mistakes, distractions, slip ups, very uncharacteristic.
Have you seen all the velkoz drama because he had like a 46% winrate, well how come they ain’t change sion if he’s just as bad if not worse?🤷♂️
