Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple | 12th Century Ancient Temple In Goa | UNESCO World Heritage Site Goa

Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple is a 12th-century Shaivite temple in the Kadamba style dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is about 55 kms from Margao, 65 Kms from Panjim and 15 Kms from Mollem, Goa. It is an ASI protected Monument of National Importance in Goa.
The temple is built in the Kadamba style from basalt. The temple survived untouched due to its remote location in a clearing deep in the forest at the foot of the Western Ghats which surround the site.
