I just saw your video this morning, 1/1/24. I tell ya, I don't know if I have ever seen a man as happy looking as you in that new boat! Gosh, you were smiling throughout the whole time. You and your beautiful wife looked like you were really going to have a great time. This made my day.
Frank. When loading the boat, drive the boat all the way onto the trailer. Attach your hooks and winch it while you're still in the boat or standing on the tongue. Then climb out of the bed of the truck onto land. You don't have to get into the water. That ramp you're at on day one is super shallow, but you could still go from the bed to the cab. Getting up to your knees in the water is fine in June, but that'll suck when the waters got some bite to it.
I hear you Scott, my method works great for me. in spring I wear waders. keep in mind none of my lakes have a dock so you are in the water or mud when you beach the boat and go get the truck. I also, don't see the boat of getting back in the boat, starting it up and driving it on when I'm right there. But that's just me lol.
Lower your motor when fishing off the front frank if the wind catches you it will turn you completely around I just ordered ,e a bass tracker classic I’ve owned used boats but never a new one I’m going from a 90 model to a new one your videos helped me with buying one keep doing what your doing buddy you sold me on a bass tracker classic
Wow I sold you on a boat amazing. I absolutely love my Tracker. Now keep in mind it’s my first boat so I really have nothing to compare it to. Lol. And thanks for that amazing tip pal. I will absolutely try that. Makes total sense never really occurred to me. And the wind does push the boat around. I can’t wait to try this.
I called several places and most were saying, you won’t be able to find one because they are wanted by everyone. I finally found one an hour and 45 minutes away, so I’m going to pick it up tomorrow. My point is, don’t give up when they tell you to wait in line. Someone has one in stock. Good luck!
Nice boat Frank. Careful when navigating using Garmin or Navionics. I learned the hard way in Porters Lake that the chart is not always accurate. Dont always account for rocks or shoals. I lost one prop but hey what boater hasn't. Best of luck with the new boat. You will love it! Cheers
BINGO! I have discovered this too. I fish Grand Lake a lot and the supplies maps do not match the contouring I’m seeing on my fish finder. The fist time I used the boat was Morris Lake. The very first night. The map said 15’ and there was only 2’. I set the alarm for three feet. It really freaked me out. So I don’t trust it any more.
i ordered my bass tracker classicl xl in black color this past friday at bass pro i find out tomorrow when i will be taking delivery of it i cant freakin wait man . thanks for the videos they are great
You are going to love this boat! I love mine so much. This is so exciting...... I ordered mine on Jan 6 and didn't get until June (covid effected some of the delivery time) I was losing my mind and thought it wasn't going to happen........ I hope you don't have that kind of delay. All the best.
Thanks for posting. Nice video. I've also never owned a boat and Im thinking of getting this exact model. Picked up some nice tips there especially with the depth alarm I like that.
Great video, you're doing great for your first boat bro... I noticed you completely raise your motor out of the water when you're fishing from the front deck, I would suggest living it slightly submerged to make the boat more stable and less susceptible to the wind, you'll save having to constantly correct with the trolling motor if it gets a bit windy.. cheers 🍻
@@FrankZinck no worries bro. Giving advice is easy, you're doing all the work by putting this channel together! Thanks for the effort! Glad my advice will help! Respect 🙌 🙌
Great video and very nice set up you have. Was cool to meet you yesterday evening when you were launching the boat. Hope I did not seem like a wacko. LOL Regards Mark
hahahahaha no more wacko then me...... so........... lol. It was nice chatting with you I'm glad your enjoying the videos. That night I caught probably 20 Bass right there out from the boat launch. I came back in just before dark and fished that cove until dark. The bass were in feeding and it was beyond crazy. So much fun. Then Tuesday night I did the same thing and only caught 1. It was crazy.
I probably would have bought this boat already, but discovered it doesn't have the versatrack system. Not sure, but I think it's the only Tracker boat in their lineup that doesn't. I'm leaning towards the Pro Team 175.
I really wanted the versatrack. But the difference in price made it too expensive. In the end I don’t even think about now. I mounted 4 rod holders around the boat and a downriver. I really don’t need or miss not having the versatrack. Still it would have been a bonus to have I guess.
We love the boat. Our lakes are not very big so the tank is perfect for me. I carry a 5L can as well but have never needed it. Taking it in and out is pain to fill. But on the same token I can fill up the boat without taking the boat lol.
I know this video is 2 years old but congratulations! Hopefully mine will come soon. How do you like it any regrets? Would you buy again or a different model or trim?
Not sure I would buy any other boat. I absolutely have zero regrets and completely love this boat. She's a dream on the lakes I fish. She doesn't handle big or rough water well, but our lakes are small and perfect for this boat. You are going to love her.
I put a Garmin at the cockpit and the bow. I had Basspro install it. My XL came with the 50HP it buggies right along. Most of our lakes are small so it does me fine. Goes close to 40 when it’s calm.
How has the classic xl been doing? Any problems? I’ve been looking at boats that I would like to buy in the future without making me go broke. Nice vid btw👍
The boat is a dream come true. And the price won't break the bank completely. I've had zero issues with boat..... doing stupid shit, well there has been some of that but not the boats fault LOL. Its been perfect. I'm glad you like the video.
Frank Zinck yeah you can’t really beat the price. seems like a nice boat. Hopefully they have a model like this in the future. Thanks for the response.

And we are still smiling. We absolutely love this boat and enjoy every minute in it.
Nothing like getting out there on the lake! Great video!
You got that right!

I pick up my classic xl next Tuesday. This video makes it hard to wait!
How exciting. You’ll love it.
Congrats!!! That boat is good to go in less than 2ft of water. Just trim the motor up. Ur gonna love it!!!
The boat is a dream come true.
Love that boat, I am glad you're enjoying it. I have a Jhon Boat with 6hp outboard and hope to have a tracker. New subscriber here! 👋
I love my Tracker. But you’re lucky to have a boat. Tight lines!
Getting ready to buy one 2023, looks like fun 💯
Do it. You won’t regret it.

Great video! Im looking to buy this same boat this week. I just hope I don't have to wait too long for delivery. Tight lines and safe voyages.
You are going to live it. Today I installed a Canon downriver Lake Troll. It’s manual but serves my purpose.

Congratulations Sir. I'm looking at getting this boat by the end of the year.
You won’t regret it.
Looks great can’t wait to get one myself can’t wait
You will love it. I certainly have no regrets.
Beautiful lake.
It sure is!
For your trolling motor issue. Push down on the head a little and pull the cable. Works every time.
Mine just needed to break that initial seal. A little lube and all was good.

Awesome boat, Frank. I'm a tad jealous :)

Frank , I love the channel. Do you ever visit the Midwest, my wife and I would love to take you fishing and camping this summer.
I would love that. That would be awesome. We don’t get out there but after Covid who knows. We need to go somewhere lol.
That's the bad think about having a new boat that first scratch Good video
Lol I agonized over that first scratch. Now I beach the boat and slam gear around like it’s nothing lol.
That's awesome Frank. Nicely done. Just be careful and not blow by too close to us kayakers.
I make no promises! LOL. Being a kayak-er too I'm totally in sync.
Great video and an extremely nice rig.
Glad you enjoy. Thanks.
Thanks for posting. Nice video. I've also never owned a boat and Im thinking of getting this exact model. Picked up some nice tips there especially with the depth alarm I like that.
Ya the depth alarm is with my Garmin I replaced the stock Lowrance. This is an amazing boat. I love it so much.
Been looking into this boat since it wont break the bank!
I can't say enough about this boat. I love this boat so much, worth every penny.
Congratulations awesome boat
Thanks so much, I am loving it.

That’s an amazing tip. I never thought about that. That’s a great tip. I’ll definitely do that this summer. Thanks so much for sharing.

My only complaint for my 2024 Tracker Classic XL is my freezer is full and I still.have 1/4 tank of fuel that came with the boat.
lol awesome!
Awesome video! New to your channel
Thanks so much, glad you are enjoying it.
Loved the video. I’m looking to get my first boat and this might be it. How is the 6 gallon gas tank holding up? Is it enough fuel for the day?
We love the boat. Our lakes are not very big so the tank is perfect for me. I carry a 5L can as well but have never needed it. Taking it in and out is pain to fill. But on the same token I can fill up the boat without taking the boat lol.
@@FrankZinck thanks for the reply. I did end up buying this boat. Waiting a couple weeks for pickup. Thank you!

You still looking it? I’m about to pull the trigger on that or the 160.
I am loving this boat! Granted this is my first real boat but I don't think you can beat the Classic XL. Its an amazing boat.
What’s up speed in that 40 and it comes with lowrance junk fish finder did you install the garmin if so where did you mount the transducer
I put a Garmin at the cockpit and the bow. I had Basspro install it. My XL came with the 50HP it buggies right along. Most of our lakes are small so it does me fine. Goes close to 40 when it’s calm.
Drive that boat on the trailer dont be scared
Lol I am scared to do it. But I fish alone so for me it’s more efficient to just line it on to the trailer.
this dude seriously wearing his life jacket lmfao
That I do
Do you know the length of the whole thing with the tongue of the trailer folded?
I think with the motor in the down position and the tongue folded it’s 19 feet. Designed to fit into a garage.
New sub! Want to get me my tracker soon
You won’t regret it.

I don't understand why they can't just break it in to spec at the factory.
That has always been my question too.
have mine bought, pickup time is 90 days at the earliest , the wait is unbearable!
That’s awesome. You’re going to have a blast with it for sure.
